Excellent food and service!
I will be sure to request a booth ahead of time, as that would have been our preference on Saturday night. It was too hot and steamy to site outside on the deck which is where we typically sit. Again, "booth it is" for the future. Barbara
Great food and ambiance. Little pricey but you get what you pay for. Flounder imperial very good as well as the bone in rib eye. Can't go wrong. Very good drinks also. Many places seem to water the drinks down but these were made with skill. We also had entertainment which was tastefully done and not so loud that you couldn't talk. All in all a very pleasant last night on the island. My island favorite!
Unfortunately my fish was overcooked. Otherwise, beatific view. Desserts were delicious.
In one word, all I can say about Ela's is SUPERB!!! Food, atomosphere, service and ambiance all first class.
We ate here on our last night in Hilton Head as a date night. We loved this place! The view was outstanding and the food was incredible! I got the surf and turf special and my wife got the pork tenderloin, both were amazing! The server we had has some work to do, once he realized we weren't interested in "add ons" like wine and such, he turned the charm off and didn't seem to care much more about us, the food and view however made up for it and we made the most of our evening. The calarmari is the best; steak strips instead of legs. The sauce for dipping is very good. We had swordfish which was awesome. The Chicago steak just ok and group was a little overcooked. We have been here many times and will continue to come but does not seem to be consistent.
The atmosphere and food was outstanding...a place to recommend to others for a special/romantic dinner getaway with a great marina view.
Waiter was easily distracted. For instance, 15 minutes to get our bill.
