Service was poor. Never introduced herself or expressed the special of the day. Server wanted to take all our orders at once. When entrees came 2 out of 4 plates had several chips. I noted to the server her reply “these plates are expensive to replaced they cost about $30 each”. I’m sorry mine entree costs me $46 and what if if I had cut myself. No apologies. Fabulous location but Sunday brunch very disappointing. Service average.
I ordered beets as appetizer, it was ok except the seagull must have seen better days in her youth! Then I had the fried flounder, it was awful , completely dry like if it was cooked the day before and left in the oven the day after to warm it up. If you tried to remove the crust with a fork the whole flounder was on your fork. This should have never left the kitchen if the chef was deserving this title or the owner cared about quality.
Over cooked pork chop. Very very dry. Service was very non-attentive and had to get attention of a server for a steak knife to find the pork chop was terrible. The scallops were fantastic. But would not recommend this method lace for any thing special. Very basic, food and service. Is nothing special.
I cannot stress enough how disappointed we were in Ela’s. The food was terrible and wildly overpriced. The salmon was over cooked, the tuna so fatty that half of the dish was not edible and the vegetables were under cooked and disgusting. We will not be back and will be telling all of our renters and friends to avoid this restaurant.

So disappointed with Ela’s tonight. Mentioned it was our wedding anniversary in the reservation and requested a table on the water. We were sat right in front of the musician (he was great) but it made having a conversation difficult. They never acknowledged our anniversary. From walking in, hostess was not welcoming, not a warm and friendly vibe. Food was ok, Grouper was overcooked. So disappointing, we spent NYE at Ella’s and wanted a special evening. Ordered Tito’s but saw the waitress/bartender pour another vodka. We were charged for the Tito’s. I suspect the wine was the same. Very low class.
