Went for Thanksgiving, so while this isn’t their usual menu, every single thing was disappointing. The turkey resembled thick cut lunch meat turkey, sort of like ham. The stuffing was too salty to have more than one bite. I guess the mashed potatoes were okay. I got the crab stack appetizer (normal menu item) and the avocado was literally brown. You just can’t charge someone $16 for an app and serve brown avocado.
Clearly having an off night, especially with covid. But we won’t be coming back.
While the food was okay(my scallops were nothing special and my husband's salmon was overcooked), the service we received was absolutely HORRIBLE! We were treated very poorly by our server, who neglected to help us for some reason- but he was clearly eager to help the customers at the tables next to us. Why did he discriminate against us?!? We will never return and will tell all of our friends and family about this horrible experience. We came to celebrate a job promotion and left feeling angry and upset.
We had a booth, which had a nice view. Everyone, wait staff, buss, managers were running around, as if noone could seem them making everything look so difficult. Ordered mussels as an appetizer, after nearly 25+ minutes they arrived and 30 seconds later they wanted to deliver or dinners. Mussels were stringy and smelled fishy. We made a reservation to ELA’S for my sisters 21st birthday, having never been before but seeing the reviews. Wow we’re we surprised to be treated so poorly upon our arrival. Never before have I waited over 45 minutes in a CORNER of a restaurant on a special occasion, having a reservation. We decided to make the most of our wait by getting drinks. And WOW. The food was a huge disappointment for the price. The view and the ambiance was great. Not sure we’ll be back though.
The front desk did not honor our open table request to have an outdoor table, then our server did not bring our wine until more than halfway through the entree. She brought birthday cake to the wrong person, and left all the unused wine glasses on the table when we refused the late bottle.
The food and service were slow and terrible
We were seared at a table 2 feet away from the table next to us. We requested a table away from others. We noted that the tableware from our first table was not changed out after we moved. I ordered the diver scallop entree and was served an appetizer portion of large scallops. We will not eat here again.
