Completely did NOT live up to the reviews and we really wanted to love this place. First of all, when the server came to our table and told us about the specials my husband asked her if she had tried them to which she replied in the most monotone and lackluster, unenthused voice possible- "they're better than last night" We should have just gotten up and left right then because it completely set the tone for the evening. Advertises a view from every table. Our table had a view of numerous large tables of other patrons. Very noisy. Service was lousy. Food was just ok. Some of our food was served luke warm. We have dined outside on previous occasions and experience was better.
Disappointing from the moment we walked in. Hostess wasn't friendly at all. Dirty bread plate, something floating in water glass, hair found in wrapped silverware, and my seafood meal (Flounder) was mushy and under cooked. Way too pricey for such a bad experience. Would not recommend and will never return.
Our last evening in HH and very disappointed with the "uninterested" service we received. The ribeye was good but the side dishes were totally cold. An over-price disappointing experience.
We live in ohio but We come here every year but this time We had the worst service ever. Hannah was our sever and she couldn't have looked or acted more miserable to be serving us. She got our order wrong and never came back to check up on us. She rolled her eyes a lot never smiled. Very disappointing!!
Great food, good service and excellent recommendations from our server. View of the harbor and the sound were excellent. Nice live music, not too loud which was excellent.

This was the third time we visited Ela's not really for the food but the great view. However this time we made reservation a couple of days in advance to look out over the habor. I was told we would be outside or by a window. When we arrived they told us that there was nothing outside but we would be by a window. The window have no view other than a condo complex and a glimps of the water. I told them I was not pleased and that was the only table available. This spoiled the evening . First meal....last meal I was really not impressed. We visited for lunch on a mini vacay. The view was amazing. But the food was tasteless. I would not go back there again.
