Bad service. Too many other restaurants on HHI. After being seated we didn't see a waiter for over 15 minutes and when he did breeze by he said. "Be right with ya". But he wasn't. He just was never interested in serving us. He filled water glasses and then said he would be back for our drink orders, it seemed every time he came by he was inattentive.....I think you get that I was unhappy with the service. Nice view overlooking the marina, but food is fair at best.
Be warry of being seated upstairs. .you could find yoursrlf .next to a wedding party...noisy, poor service, crying babies, etc. Not the Sat evening dinner anyone wanted.

Ela's Grille is a great place to eat. The food is top quality, however the second time we were there, the service was horrible. The waitress we had the first time was excellent.
We love seafood and started the meal with the tuna tartare app, it was flavorful, good, would recommend it. For our entrees, my wife ordered the scallops and I ordered the swordfish. The scallops and preparation was very good, again can recommend this dish. However, the swordfish on first attempt was over cooked and on second attempt lacked any flavor. The waiter was kind enough to take the swordfish off the bill. Desert was the tiramisu, dry and almost tasteless. Overall just an ok dinner.
We were not impressed with Thanksgiving menu. Food served barely lukewarm which took away from the general enjoyment of the meal. Table next to us sent theirs back to the kitchen to be warmed up. Perhaps we should have too and, maybe, would have enjoyed it more. Thought appetizer we chose was overpriced for what was presented. We were very disappointed in the food wondered if perhaps being a Monday night the regular chef was not there ?....our friends raved about Ela's that is why we were there, the highlight was dining outside a beautiful spot.....calamari was inedible and my husband says his scallops were tough. Our friend asked if the Caesar salad had any dressing on it.... We also found it difficult to find and were late....
every part of our meal was under par. from the service to the wine and the food. very disappointing, especially for the price. no matter the view!
