My elderly mother has a lump in her breast . After getting an ultrasound and additional images they said she would get a call the next day to schedule a biopsy. No call. This morning I see in her account ( the account that has her address all screwed up so she never got her notices that were mailed) that her doctor needs to refer her. That’s exactly what they said not to do since Simonmed has her records. She most likely has cancer and we can’t get her a biopsy since no one knows what they are doing.
17 sick people (standing room only) backed up in the waiting room. Equipment is old, staff are rushed and probably taking short cuts in attempting to keep up😢
I got there at 9:30 am with out an appointment I was told that There was a 30 minutes wait I said that will be fine an hour went by and I asked the lady at the front desk how much longer? She said aim sorry let me check. She came back and said you are next. I had a MRI scheduled for 5:30, received a phone message that told me to be there at 3:15. When I got there the girl at the desk said that was weird but I was flagged as an A.S.A.P so maybe that was why. I still sat there for 2 hours! Another lady sitting in the waiting room was having the same issue.
RecommendedI heard time and time again waiting in the office from others who were checking in that they wish they knew they could make an appointment since the recording does not say that. The response from the front counter was “yes, we hear that all the time, but it’s corporates decision there is nothing we can do” my heart went out to more than one person yesterday while I waited, these were elderly patients who were in some kind of pain/handicap now were told they have a 45 minute to an hour wait till. Checked in with appt. Still waited 2 hours! Had a tech who had no training and I did not receive a diagnostic result due to his lack of knowledge on the X Ray machine. Called to speak to a supervisor and 7 days I have not received a call back. I will call my insurance company to STOP payment being the X Ray was not done right! Never go to this place again😡
It is simple , I went to the Arrowhead Simon Med in Glendale, Az . I was met by one receptionist with attitude, and overall unable to be nice let alone be professional. My entire experience overall was basically poor overall. I attempted to contact the manager of that particular Simon Med, in attempt to resolve my situation. I don’t really want to slam the entire Simon Med group as the actual MRI techs were great! What I am angry/disappointed with is the front desk personnel. I arrive for my scheduled appointment (medicated up for closed mri, having claustrophobic issues but needing test urgently), I am told my appointment was canceled and another was scheduled for my 6:45 time slot. They billed me in person for the full amount of my visit when it was supposed to be 20% coinsurance. I have to call the billing office to get it straightened out. They will have to issue me a refund. That’s a lot of work when they just could’ve billed me the correct amount. The waiting room was packed. My ultrasound technician was frazzled and was making personal calls during my procedure. I’ll be avoiding Simon med!
