Failed to bill insurance for my daughter's hip ultrasound and don't show insurance on file, even though the information was provided twice. Got the address very wrong on the bill as well, so we were lucky we saw the online copy. **** says to go to a website to update insurance information, but it is not possible to do so on the website. I was here on 06/04/2024 for a cardiac CT scan upon a referral from my cardiologist due a critical condition. I paid $224.01 copay before the scan. Now, it has been almost a full week, my report is shown as unread. Based on their web page, the results would be ready 1-3 days. I have never this kind of issue with any health provider. The results have been always ready 1-2 business days in my previous experiences.
My insurance (Tricare Young ***** Select) is covered. Was expected to pay $50 copay for my ultrasound, but was instead met with an unexpected $490 bill. I rescheduled my appointment for another ultrasound for next week with 24+ hour notice, and I just received another bill for a combined total of $1300. For 2 covered ultrasounds.
This business has been calling for months. Today I decided to answer to see what they are calling for. *** didn't respond and would just stay quiet when I asked questions, ultimately resulting in my ending the call. She wanted my full name and date of birth. I'm not giving that to random people who call. Furthermore, the interaction seemed shady. Professionalism starts with responding to questions asked when you call. I didn't call.
I was misinformed 3 times from 3 different Simonmed associates/employees about my US 's payment. First, 1 associate told me that they could always back out my copayment and charged me the cash price as it was lower. My doctor sent an order for a Barium Swallow x-ray in January 2024. They never called me to schedule the appointment. So, I scheduled the appointment and was told they can't get me in until May 24, 2024. I called for the appointment in February . Four days before my appointment they cancelled and was told they do not have a radiologist. I was 40 minutes on the line with SimonMed answering all their questions to make an appointment. Finally made an appointment date and time . But later realized they didnt even tell me the address my appointment is . When I called to find out . They told me that I dont have scheduled appointments.Such an unreliable company.
This company is horrible. I have called 13 times trying to get a detailed invoice for an Ultrasound for my FSA. NODOBY there can send me an invoice. How is this even possible? I have asked for a supervisor, I have been hung up because now I am so frustrated that I have wasted so much time trying to get a simple invoice.I will never use this company again for any service. If ZERO stars were an option I would give that.
They get one star because 0 wasnt available. They hung up on me 9/10 times that I called. I was looking for help with scheduling a medical test and things escalated where I wanted to leave a survey for the poor service and each time the rep either bypassed the option for me to leave a survey or the system hung up on me.
