The nightshift is a horrorshow. Almost all drug addicts. Rude and skeletal, twitchy and very apparently on drugs. It wouldn't matter as much if they at least gave decent service.

The smell of smoke and the "air freshener" was overwhelming. I immediately got a headache. Could still smell smoke in non smoking room. Kept my clothes zipped up so they did not reek of the stench. Awful nasty hotel. Woke up early AM all congested.

We went to see a show that had been cancelled so we thought we would just stay around for the night and have fun! This Casino is ANYTHING but fun. First we try dinner, that bombed because we had to wait over an hour for our food! The food was so nasty, over cooked and stale we just left. Luckily they had chips and salsa so that helped fill us up. Then the casino floor has no cocktail ladies. When I finally saw one, we sat at a game for over an hour, playing. She was a bitch! The whole "resort" feels run down and dingy. Every time we come something is messed up with our reservation. Twice we have arrived and been told we don't have a reservation and another time on check in was told we were there a day early. All 3 times I had email confirmations showing the reservations. They were able to find us rooms, but not the same type of rooms we reserved. The only reason we stay here is that they comp us rooms. I am at a loss for words as to what this facility and the 2 connected have become. As much as you can't even contact them to discuss the stay. Home now and do not recommend at all.

My wife and I have been loyal customers to the SL for close to a decade. We experienced such horrible customer service this last trip that we will NEVER stay at SL (or ED of CC) again. One would think that when you stay in their most expensive rooms , eat at their most expensive restaurants and drop several hundred $$$s in their casino 4 to 5 times a year you would be treated with a little respect an courtesy. Not st the SL. We're taking our business to the Peppermill. I hear it's much nicer anyways....

Food was good, Sterling Steak House was delicious ! The servers were excellent as well. A lot of repairs needed left unfinished inside and out. Front desk did not honor my reservation request even though they charged me for the first day up front when I booked it. I was forced to take a less desirable room. It took me really pressing the issue for them to even consider some compensation for my inconvenience. They acted as if I should be thankful for having a room at all because they were busy. Stayed 1 night, all the staff were polite, helpful, and informative. Rooms, hallways, elevators, lobby, everywhere we went was remarkably clean. Towels were soft, bed was comfy, and the room was pretty quiet. Only complaint would be the shower/bath - when I pulled the thing on the bath faucet (I don't know what it's called) to use the shower the faucet looked like it was about to come out of the wall entirely and the water didn't drain fast enough to not have my feet partially submerged.
