We like the Silver Legacy best out of the 3 casinos. The rooms are clean and inviting. The maids are friendly. I would not, however, suggest Hussong's Cantina. My husband ordered the bean dip, it was mostly melted cheese and extremely bland. I ordered the guacamole it also was extremely bland and all I could test was lime. The salsa was very watery and bland. The service, on the other hand, was very good.
My room was okay but I found a shoe in my room so that meant they didn't thoroughly cleaned, I put the card on my bed for fresh sheets which didn't happen�, and they had mold on the hallway walls, which they cleaned while we were there. I think we all should have moved to a different floor or side and allowed them to work on the wall. My allergies got real bad and I won't be making reservations there anymore.��
Just another grungy smoke filled casino. Obviously in need of a major overhaul as does the entire city
Silver Legacy is a beautiful casino with many games to choose from. All of the employees that I encountered were very friendly and went a bit beyond the normal. But, that's where my compliments stop. I was there for a show (Demetri Martin) in a big room in the basement. And that's how it feels, like you're in a large room in the basement. There wasn't anything at all grand about it. Really disappointed with my stay at the Silver Legacy. After going out with my girlfriend, we ended the night at Drinx, the bar near the hotel elevators before going to our room. I had been drinking, and stupidly left my nice Argentine leather jacket on a chair near the bar. The next morning the bartenders rudely told us to check with lost & found. What kind of B.S. is this that they automatically charge your card $25 daily for incidentals? They also don't have microwaves and refrigerators in the regular rooms. Then they want to charge you $10 a day to rent a fridge. I won't be staying here again.
Had all the conveniences that you want except for clean air. Smoking is so prevalent that I had a hard time breathing. My wife, who is asthmatic truly suffered.
Stay here every time we go to Reno. But, noticed slots are getting tighter. We use to have a great time, our money kept us going but now it's gone by the first day. Use to go every month now it's like 2-3 times a year. Very disappointing.
