It has been a uphill battle with getting the results promised by this company. I financed for six months promise of a new smile and its over six months and still cant see what was promised. I have also had another experience of them not having a dependable online payment option. Its almost like the smile app is setup to steal payments. So I got these, they did an ok job. My teeth weren't straightened, I did everything the way I was supposed to, even wore them longer than recommended. HOWEVER, I have been paying faithfully on them for over a year. I'm May, I lost my job and still haven't found gainful employment. I have lost my home and everything and had to move in with my daughter in order to not be o. the street. I called to ask them to suspend my payments until l got a job and could pick back up. I had to get a tooth pulled and never started treatment. I was suppose to finish treatment back in November 2021 and after sending my imprints for the first time, I never received anything after calling and telling them that I need another impression kit. They asked me to send back the kit that I didn't even have. Everyone has been great, but I've have paid over $1000 for something I haven't even done and won't get refunded because they don't have the kit that I was supposedly suppose to return. If you are thinking about getting aligners with smile direct club, I would reconsider. I first started treatment in 2020. And the aligners I was giving did not fit. When I called to speak to a representative, they told me to skip ahead on the treatment until I got to the aligners that fit properly. So I tried. But I never got any to fit properly. I then decided to switch to the night time aligners since they looked terrible around the teeth. When I called to switch they sent me a new impression kit, which I had to pay for. O... read more

This company is HORRIBLE. The customer service is non existent. No one can answer a question or speak english clearly. They take forever to respond to concerns or problems and when you get communication from them and try to respond in the manner they suggest, the representatives do not know what to do including supervisors. My account manager is not reachable unless emailed by customer service and then takes days to respond. KEEP IN MIND, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

Smile Direct Club seems great. But their customer service is the WORST. I've been hung up on, had online chats ended for no reason, and told contradictory stuff from every employee. Still awaiting for my aligners to show up, past the time they quoted on phone, and now it won't get completed before I left out of country - which they assured me would get done. Yea, its less expensive. But if you have ANY issues good luck, it won't get fixed or assisted in a timely manner.
