Did not contact me in months finally called them. They said they sent aligners I never got them. No contact from them. Called them said they sent them and would charge me again. Outsource their customer service and it’s awful. Do not use them !

Very misleading. Make sure you check everything and are happy with the renderings before signing anything. They are not going to care and just want to make sure they get you to pay for it. I would suggest you pay more and go to an ortho that will care. I have had bad experience and my family members who have had also had bad experiences. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Seriously, go to your ortho and go that route. They do not care about your smile.

The worst part about this is I wasn’t told they take insurance when I went in for my scan, after that I was told I wouldn’t be charged and was pressured into putting my card information. After being charged I got the box and just said why not my teeth are messed up but maybe this could help. They didn’t fit, my teeth got worst if anything. I’m now being sent to collections due to me not paying because I was out of work while I went to an academy for 3 months for EMT. The aligned were very poor quality. Several did not fit properly and more than once I recieved 2 bottom or top aligned. I would highly recommend anyone wanting **********to go to their dentist.

Do not go through Smile Direct! They will ruin your teeth. I was on a plan and ended up having to do 4 rounds of "touch ups" because my teeth were still not straight. Then, I was left with a gap in my teeth that my dentist said it was a direct result of the aligners from Smile Direct. She is now saying I have to get actual braces to repair the gap. I have been trying to get my money back from Smile Direct for months now. They do not seem to care about ruining their customers teeth. I wish I could leave a 0 star.

My review and based off of not only poor customer service, but also quality, safety, and customer care support for those in/after treatment. Upon moving forward with treatment I was informed that as a “good candidate” (having worn braces and only need minor spacing adjustments) my treatment process would be simple and straightforward. Went to the smile shop in highland Park il. Got a scan done. Paid the initial deposit. They told me that it will be charged within 3-5 business days and I will receive my aligners within 4 weeks for top AND bottom that I paid for. After 4 weeks money was not taken out and no aligners. Kept calling for a week until finally someone was able to process my order and they shipped them out expedited. Received in 3 days only to receive TOP aligners only. I only give 4 stars as everyone has room for improvement. I just finish reading numerous 1 star/negative review than I would have liked, about bad customer service, delays in receiving smile package/aligners. The 4-star rating above is strictly for Sasha (@ the King of Prussia store). I found her to be very professional, explaining the process thoroughly also very knowledgeable about the product. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!! I have no idea how this "company" has so many positive reviews, I'm convinced that the majority of them must be fake. It was written on the website that the initial appointment for scanning the teeth and getting more information was completely free.. At my appointment, as we're about to start the scan, the guy starts explaining what it consists of (no more information than on the website) and then quickly mentions that we're gonna have to choose a payment option right away as once they send the scan... read more
