I didn't have many issues working with Solar Optimum, and the issues I did have weren't enough to totally soil my experience with them. The whole process took about 5-6 months from beginning to Power to Operate day which is usually pretty standard. Long overdue review. At first there was a lot of hiccups. My sales rep, Sean, was fired and there was no communication or notification that my project would be handled by someone else. Waited long enough for the roofing dept to give me a quote on the roofing project when I decided to retract and forego the project then Jeremy Nicholson, VP of Residential Sales stepped in and Things started moving. Solar Optimum offered the best pricing out of various different quotes I received and carried the specific solar brands/products I was looking for after hours of research. They have a different department that helps handle each step of the process, which kept things moving very efficiently. Notification emails are sent throughout the process so you know the exact status. Customer service was great. I recently completed my installation of my Solar system with Solar Optimum. They are a Solar co. and Roofing co. From start to finish, it took about 3 months with all of the city and PGE approvals. I am very satisfied with the whole system and the very good job they did on the whole process. Initially, they told me they use company employees or previous employees to install the system, but that is not true. I contacted Solar Optimum for a home backup battery installation using an Enphase 10C battery. They initially quoted me $10,146.50 for the project. Before conducting a site inspection, they required me to sign a contract and pay a $500 deposit. After completing the site plan, they informed me that a panel upgrade was necessary and that the battery would need to be installed in an inconvenient location. They cant promise for quote price.. watch out and read carefully Doc Sign and gouging another big thousand dollars .. Loan for 20 but now 25 years and crazy ! Stay away from this Solar Optimum business.

I'm sharing an update on my experience seeking service from this company. Due to heavy rain, our roof began leaking. Hratch, Senior Construction Manager, visited the site to review the issue. Prior to his visit, four independent roofers confirmed that the leak was coming from underneath the solar panels. However, Hratch dismissed those findings and stated it was an existing flashing issue. signed a contract with Solar Optimum on Aug 12th, 2026. Per phone call with Eddie Rodriguez, it was made clear that I wanted to have it installed by end of year in order to qualify for the tax credit before it expired. A lot of time passed by without hearing back. Then I was told the solar panels that I had agreed to are no longer available. They replaced them with cheaper options. They are very pleasant to deal with UNTIL contract is signed. They will keep NO contact or relationship with customer. Customer is left in dark and struggling to talk. They do not reply to emails. If their main number is called, they promptly answer thinking it is a new customer. And when a question is asked, they say someone will call. It does not happen, no one calls.
