Must go to company for your solar needs. This review is long overdue. Have had my solar from Solar Optimum for over a year now and it has been working excellently. The company is dependent, honest, reliable and really cares to tailor to their clients needs. Did not try to sell me more panels or equipment than needed and responded to support with help on how to use the Tesl Powerwall app. Just the other day my Tesla fell off the grid on the app and they came same day to check on it. Solar Optimum was very thorough in giving us our quote and was even able to fix our roof before installing the solar panels, which not all solar companies do. The installation happened quickly once the paperwork and permits were done (which they handled). Very happy with the process - highly recommend.
Rene came out and installed my replacement internet connection. All is working well. I will probably buy a power wall from them too.
They cant promise for quote price.. watch out and read carefully Doc Sign and gouging another big thousand dollars .. Loan for 20 but now 25 years and crazy ! Stay away from this Solar Optimum business.
I'm sharing an update on my experience seeking service from this company. Due to heavy rain, our roof began leaking. Hratch, Senior Construction Manager, visited the site to review the issue. Prior to his visit, four independent roofers confirmed that the leak was coming from underneath the solar panels. However, Hratch dismissed those findings and stated it was an existing flashing issue. Per phone call with Eddie Rodriguez, it was made clear that I wanted to have it installed by end of year in order to qualify for the tax credit before it expired. A lot of time passed by without hearing back. Then I was told the solar panels that I had agreed to are no longer available. They replaced them with cheaper options. They are very pleasant to deal with UNTIL contract is signed. They will keep NO contact or relationship with customer. Customer is left in dark and struggling to talk. They do not reply to emails. If their main number is called, they promptly answer thinking it is a new customer. And when a question is asked, they say someone will call. It does not happen, no one calls. After being referred to Solar Optimum by a family member, we hired them to put solar on our home in OC and install a Powerwall. The proposal process was smooth and the sales person was knowledgeable. Unfortunately, everything after we signed the contract went down hill. I had solar optimum install a Tesla power wall to go with my solar panels. They sent unlicensed and untrained electrical technicians to my home. They did not know what they were doing causing my kitchen electricity to fail. To try to fix the damage they caused, they sent another electrician out who cut a large hole in my wall of my home and damaged numerous electrical switches. .
