Solar Optimum was very thorough in giving us our quote and was even able to fix our roof before installing the solar panels, which not all solar companies do. The installation happened quickly once the paperwork and permits were done (which they handled). Very happy with the process - highly recommend.
Rene came out and installed my replacement internet connection. All is working well. I will probably buy a power wall from them too.
Solar Optimum did a very nice job all around with my solar installation, from product selection and pricing, to scheduling and installation. I was always able to get in touch with the right person in charge of whatever I needed to have a response for and they were prompt with their responses. I got my solar panels in 2017. There was an issue with one panel which they came out an fixed when they caught it. All in all pretty happy with the whole experience, reflecting back this many years later. Only issue I have is in the process of selling me the panels they promised they would be willing to come by once a year or so to clean them. Maybe it was just a sales person talking but I've called and left messages during some of the very long dry spells we get in SoCal if they could wipe them down. They never get bac... read more

We've had our Solar Optimum panels for a little over two years and I'm very happy to report they work as promised. So, I have a plug in hybrid vehicle. With Solar and battery, my cost of fuel(electricity) is 7 cents per mile. This compared with 15 cents per mile with a gasoline engine. So, I am using electricity for my home and for my vehicle, paying $100 each month, which is substantially less than $400~$500 I used to pay. This assumes that my solar + battery has close to zero down time. Thanks to Solar Optimum, I never had any down time.
I am very pleased with the service I received from this company. They were not pushy, always prompt and polite, and when you call them on the phone, a person picks up and is helpful. I did my due diligence in looking for solar panels-- I had a whole spreadsheet with the cost per unit energy output, panel type, degradation rate, warranty, etc etc, and concluded that this company seemed to be best... most reasonable cost, quality panels, great warranty. It's now been several months and I couldn't be happier. I spent months considering if solar was for me.
