Solar Optimum offered the best pricing out of various different quotes I received and carried the specific solar brands/products I was looking for after hours of research. They have a different department that helps handle each step of the process, which kept things moving very efficiently. I recently completed my installation of my Solar system with Solar Optimum. They are a Solar co. and Roofing co. From start to finish, it took about 3 months with all of the city and PGE approvals. I am very satisfied with the whole system and the very good job they did on the whole process. Initially, they told me they use company employees or previous employees to install the system, but that is not true. There was some miscommunication at the beginning but they made sure everything is covered and provided full satisfaction. They seem really caring what customers are saying. I am excited to see the savings.

Skip the national, disorganized solar chains and go with these guys - great team, all local. Priced competitively, no BS haggling and most importantly no vastly overinflated production estimates on undersized systems. Their quote process is great and very thorough, and we got lucky with my install and had the panels on my roof within a month of signing the contract. PTO took a few more weeks, but worth the wait - the system is running great. Incredibly professional, kind team who are all wonderful to work with.

Solar Optimum pricing was comparable to some other quotes received. They displayed a high degree of professionalism in their work. They were pretty neat and clean in doing the work.

checked out 5 or 6 solar companies. Solar Optimum was the best price. Friendly staff. got the REC Pure 400 watt panels for my house. Installers were very good. Producing more than I consume already. Probably like a 3 1/2 year payback.

Solar Optimum did a great job with the solar panels for a good price. The best part of the process was Ashley, who was my contact person; and she was always very responsive. She would look in to any issues I had and was also very friendly and helpful when talking with her on the phone.

An update: Since my neighbor also had the same solar panels, I was looking at their equipment (which was turned on). Definitely my fault, but I wish SO would be a bit clearer with their instructions. They have the general "turn on" instructions, but since they have the plans and drawings for where the different boxes are for my specific location, I needed that additional guidance to ensure I didn't touch the wrong equipment. We chose Solar Optimum based on their generally excellent reviews. While the process began well enough (Sean Sprague was our initial contact), it soon became complicated by the lack of a single Point Of Contact. We had to deal with different representatives regarding design, permits, payments, installation, roof repairs, etc. Most frustrating was that while our agreed-upon design plan specified an 'attic run' of conduit, the installers surprisingly installed the wiring on top of our newly installed roof saying that this was ... read more
