This hospital really does things right. I have had a couple family members treated at St. David's North and recently my husband had a health scare so we found ourselves back in the ER. Every person from the woman checking us in at the door, to the nurses, PAs and radiologists were kind and extremely caring. The ER was fairly comfortable and private. I just spent two days in Saint David's north and I had a really wonderful experience. I just wanted to take a minute to say how much I appreciate The care that I got from an entire team of nurses and doctors. Ariel, Christoper, Ron,Julia. With all that is going on in the world and how you have to work so many hours and deal with your own personal lives. Being new to Austin, was not sure where to go for emergency medical treatment. I have not been let Down one minute staying here. All of the nurses and doctors on 3South are just amazing!
I have a very mixed review. I stayed in this hospital for 4 days due to a mini stroke. The accommodations were awesome. The staff of 3 North was so extremely attentive and caring. I cant say enough about the quality care I received. But then, I made an appointment for a needed heart procedure and they told me i would have to pay $2000 up front! This wasn't planned. Unlike so many others, I was hospitalized for non-Covid issues. The staff of St. Davids still made me feel like their #1 priority. This is an outstanding center with outstanding staff. I had the best hospital experience here. I gave birth to my first child on 04/29/2020. My doctor was Alyson Garcia from Austin Area OBGYN, and she's absolutely amazing. I had the best labor and delivery experience I could've imagined, absolutely no complaints. The nurses were very nice and caring, some more enthusiastic than others but I didn't encounter anyone rude or mean.
