The quality of nurses and doctors can't be matched. Best hospital at which to deliver.
What a beautiful hospital and what an incredible staff. My husband went from the ER to ICU and then to a regular room and in each area we were met with doctors, nurses and assistants who were extremely competent, pleasant and eager to meet any need that arose, regardless of how small. Providing the telephone extension of the nurse and assistants on each shift so they could be called directly when needed was wonderful. We were greatly impressed with the entire experience. Special thanks to the nurses and assistants in the... read more
Just had our second baby and we wanted to move from St. Davids Round Rock here. The experience was day and night. Every single staff member was fantastic and super helpful. I had to have a c-section and my husband had to stay at home at night with our toddler. The nurses were all super helpful in the wee hours of the night with helping me get up and changing the baby. Everyone was respectful of mama needing rest and always seemed to try to schedule times for things that would allow some rest. Hospital was clean and eve... read more
I had surgery in August 2017 at this facility. I have had a few inpatient hospital stays over the years at other facilities and I must say that this was the best. My needs were anticipated, when I asked for pain meds I got them, did not have to wait 30 or hour after asking, nice! Everyone that came in the room to care for me was friendly, respectful and informative. For the first time in all my stays, I did not want to leave! Thank you to everyone.
The hospital was really big, and although a little confusing to navigate through there were nice staff along the way to point me in the right direction. It was super clean throughout and I loved the dr at the woman's center who saw me! Recomend.
Texas Health and Safety Code § 183.006 guarantees parents complete and unrestricted access to their minor child's electronic health records. As the father of a late-preterm infant who spent extended time in the NICU at St. David's North Austin Medical Center, I expected this hospital to honor both the letter and the spirit of that law. Instead, obtaining basic clinical data became a prolonged ordeal. My son was progressing well and approaching discharge when, shortly after circumcision, night nursing observations of desatura... read more
Is very unacceptable for someone to be waiting on a provider to discuss your son's conditions and treatment. We have been sitting in the lobby for over 6 hours, we have not been allowed to see our son at all. The front staff has no people's skills. They are violating HIPAA Privacy talking to patients in the lobby, no Privacy. Terrible hospital.
STAY AWAY FROM ST. DAVID'S NORTH AUSTIN!!!! I had pelvic floor repair surgery at St. David's on June 22 and was discharged on June 23. Although the pre-op care was excellent, the post-op care was sub-zero. If I could rate the hospital at minus stars, I would. My husband was supposed to be notified via text messages about my progress. He received no texts. My cell phone was taken from me in the pre-op area and when I asked for it when I was in my room, I was assured it would be sent for. I received it 5 hours later and saw ho... read more
I wish I could leave zero stars. This was the absolute WORST hospital experience of my life. None of the doctors nor nurses listened to my needs. I was supposed to be on 24-hour pain management for a double mastectomy and was told after hitting a level 10 that there wasn't an order for that. What?! I had told numerous doctors and nurses. I went up to two hour waiting on pain medication. I asked for wound care and after 12 hours and asking 6 times for it, including the nurses and doctor, a nurse told me12 hours later that my... read more
