This hospital is very good! The nurses and doctors care so much about their patients and you can tell they love what they do! The hospital seemed clean and they ran the tests, I feel, necessary to get answers. Even though we may leave without answers, they were great. The only nit-picky thing would be that the food isn't that good (my fiancée said).
I had a friend and Aunt stay at St. David's and they do a great job. Staff is very respectful and kind. Facility was nice too.
Great experience here with labor, delivery, and postpartum care! Excellent nurses and staff, and excellent facilities! After having our second baby at a different hospital (in a different city), I am even more grateful for our experience at St. David's!
This is by far one of the two best hospitals you will ever encounter in the Austin area. I have had three surgeries at this hospital and with all I've had VIP treatment. I have also had two family members deliver their littles at this hospital. The staff is just amazing and very compassionate. I have been here twice and am amazed at how the entire room can have such uncomfortable stuff I recently had surgery and I have no idea how someone recuperates. The bed I was in was so awful, the discomfort must have been intentionally designed in This is why I did not 4 star this place. I finally ended up in the recliner, at least my butt did not hurt all the time. What a beautiful hospital and what an incredible staff. My husband went from the ER to ICU and then to a regular room and in each area we were met with doctors, nurses and assistants who were extremely competent, pleasant and eager to meet any need that arose, regardless of how small. Providing the telephone extension of the nurse and assistants on each shift so they could be called directly when needed was wonderful. We were greatly impressed with the entire experience. Just had our second baby and we wanted to move from St. Davids Round Rock here. The experience was day and night. Every single staff member was fantastic and super helpful. I had to have a c-section and my husband had to stay at home at night with our toddler. The nurses were all super helpful in the wee hours of the night with helping me get up and changing the baby. I had surgery in August 2017 at this facility. I have had a few inpatient hospital stays over the years at other facilities and I must say that this was the best. My needs were anticipated, when I asked for pain meds I got them, did not have to wait 30 or hour after asking, nice! Everyone that came in the room to care for me was friendly, respectful and informative. For the first time in all my stays, I did not want to leave! Thank you to everyone.
