Do not take your car here for service for multiple reasons. 1) They don't know what they are doing. I told them of a few issues and they came up with the dumbest excuse as to why it might be happening that I will just start asking my 8 year old to diagnose the issue going forward. South County Lexus dealership is the worst Ive ever had to deal with in my 20 years of car buying experience. Do not buy from this dealership, if you can avoid it do so. Luke was rude and felt a need to raise his voice to get his point across. Luke’s sales manger seems to approve of his behavior. Go somewhere else where you will be treated better.

I had a very disappointing experience with the service department due to their new policy where you can only use credit card payments for maintenance if the amount exceeds $500. This rule is inconvenient for most people who do not carry a lot of cash. Additionally, they attempted to upsell a a tire alignment on a fairly new car, which felt pushy and unprofessional. I will not get my car serviced at a SoCal Lexus dealer ever again. Please look elsewhere.

I recently bought a used Lexus IS from this dealership. They told me they were a non-negotiating dealer, but then they threw me in that room with the finance guy. That’s when the negotiations began. James, my sales person was very good but truth is, I got sold a warranty that I didn’t really need and I turned it down once! But looking back it was a mistake $1800. Made an offer on a car that was ignored by the sales guy like it was a personal insult. I started filling out this questionnaire and low and behold I get a voicemail an hour later saying “if you have an offer, make it. Haven’t heard from you.” Offer was made via iMessage which if you have an iPhone says “delivered” under the delivered text message. I would’ve bought the car had they continued negotiating but no such luck.

BEWARE South county Lexus Had clear and direct communication with their senior salesman of 25 years, text message proof that they wouldn't charge markup on the car (nx350h) we were looking to purchase.... Senior salesman texted very clearly their dealership doesn’t charge markup on vehicle, went in to purchase and claimed I misinterpreted it. Wouldn’t honor his own guy’s word and gaslighting me into thinking I misinterpreted his words. "BUYER BEWARE" I contacted South County Lexus on 6/9/23 (Friday) about a 2018 Hyundai Tucson SEL on saw on the True Car website. Alfredo D. called me Saturday morning to set up an appointment to drive the vehicle. I told him I was coming up from San Diego and would be there at 3:30. This dealer used us a leverage to sell a new vehicle that we were already walking in to purchase. We had spent several days with someone reserving the vehicle and securing the financing and we’re in constant contact with the salesperson of our purchase and arrival time while they sold it to someone else. We weee greeted with only rudeness from the moment we arrived and we’re told our vehicle was being test driven by someone else. We decided to purchase from Riverside Lexus instead and had a fantastic experience.
