Kris worked very closely with me and my husband and helped us succes in purchasing our first home! Our situation was unique because of some issues with financing due to maternity leave, payroll, etc. He kept us super informed throughout the entire process and triple check everything. Brian should be your first choice and only as a lender, whether you live nearby or across the country. I was referred to Brian by my realtor / friend who refers all his clients his way. I quickly found out there it's with good reason. Brian was extremely professional, responsive and knowledgeable. He made the entire process extremely easy and quickly helped me through a few challenges I had to work out to get to closing. I am very happy with the mortgage rate he was able to secure for me and would recommend him to anyone!

Highly recommend working with Jake. He helped us step by step through our whole home buying process and made everything so simple and painless! As first time homebuyers, I can't speak highly enough about the experience we received through Southern Trust and more specifically Chris Bufis. He was very helpful throughout the whole process and went above and beyond. While many people told us that the home buying process was daunting and that we would likely experience many issues our loan was as easy as could be and pretty much painless thanks to Chris!! If you are looking for a mortgage, Chris is a good place to start, you will not be disappointed.
