Brian has helped us with several Refi's over the years. In fact, he is the only one we use. OK, he is family, but he is an honest and hardworking lender. Straight forward with the info, quick to respond and will do whatever it takes to get you to a fair closing. Wouldn't have it any other way!
Brian Picker at Southern Trust Mortgage did an outstanding job for us with the purchase of our new home. We could not be more pleased. Brian was fast and thorough, particularly with the follow-up on the many items necessary to get us to closing. Brian has a pleasant disposition and is easy to work with. Our realtor and closing attorney (who had not previously worked with him) commented on how great Brian was to work with.
Jake and his assistant Tiffany were always very accessible responsive and made the whole process easy. They even had no problem pushing closing up 10 days when it turned out the seller could close early. I gladly recommend him.
Brian worked with my wife and I to select the right loan for our situation and with a lower rate than I expected. In addition Brian sent us reminders throughout the process to make sure there would be no delays. That was particularly helpful.

Jake and his assistant Tiffany were always available, quick to respond to questions, and spent as much time talking through mortgage options and the process as I needed. What I appreciated most about Jake was his ability to break down the lending process so that I could understand it. When you're making a large purchase like a house, you need people helping you who you feel comfortable with and can rely upon to make the process go smoothly.
As first time home buyers we had many questions throughout the process and Nic was always available to help us in any way he could and took the time to explain everything to us. We were even able to close early thanks to how quick Nic and his team were able to get things done.
