When our family founded Southland Sod Farms, we pledged to take whatever extra steps were necessary to cultivate the healthiest, most beautiful sod ever available in Southern California. We’ve been in the sod business for over 40 years now, and even after our initial success, the Gramckow family promise continues to innovate and improve.

I was very fortunate to have had the opportunity of meeting Renato De Sousa and Jorge today!! They really know how to take care of their customers!!! SOUTHLAND FARMS is blessed to have these two gentlemen as employees!!! They gave me a lot of information in regards to healing our dying lawn (MARATHON)!!! My wife and I thank you very much!!!!

It would not be possible to say enough great things about Southland Sod Farm's Renato De Sousa and his associate Jorge. My call to ask a question was returned immediately and they came to see me and demonstrated total expertise and concern for my product issue - not with their product at all but with my installation of it. Great experience, great service!
Southland Sod Farms really do care about their lawns! I had a dry patch starting to form due to poor sprinkler coverage. Gave them a call and they routed me to my local rep, Norm. He was on vacation and still texted me on how to save that small patch that was starting to go. He even showed up a week later to take a look at the dry patch to see how it was doing, tested my soil and gave me a bag of fertilizer. Explained when and how to use the fertilizer as well. 5 star service if you ask me!

Renato saved the day and was amazing! Installed marathon 2 back at the end of April, it established beautifully, and then started to have an issue with a small section starting to brown. Called Southland and they sent Renato over and he was awesome to work with. He spent the time to troubleshoot the lawn with me and we were able to fix the problem. Thanks Renato for all your help!!
