Everytime I take my furbabies in Dr. Racow and all the staff members are Caring, helpful and compassionate. They are always clear and concise when explaining the problems and recommended treatment. They also present all the options in the potential treatments.

We called about getting our cat in for a possible urinary tract infection. We’ve been going to Stierns for years. I was called back in the morning and an appointment was made with Dr. Rakow for this same day. I have never met her before, but was very pleased with her knowledge patience, and just her overall caring.. I would definitely request to see her again. I am now convinced that all three of the doctors at Stierns are great practitioners for our precious fur babies.. Thanks so much to all of you.

They were so compassionate and caring when my 90 year old dad had to have his best friend Sassy who was 17 put to sleep. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️

The reception staff is exceptional!!! I cannot say enough. After years moving to Kern County trying to find a vet, rather than driving 2 1/2 hours away. I finally feel like my dogs have a second home- the reception staff is phenomenal, caring and give personal attention and the vets such as Dr Pauldin I TRUST them . I couldn’t ask for more. I LOVE Stiern Vet! EVERYONE, from the front desk, back office assistants, and doctors are so kind, patient, and knowledgeable. Our pup, Bailey, does not hesitate to enter the door for her appointments and loves the attention she is given by all! Bailey is a rescue dog, who was dropped off at Stiern Vet very sick. They took her in, gave her the treatment she needed immediately, and staff members helped spread the word about her availability for adoption. Lucky for us, we were able to adopt her! Southwest Veterinary has been my pets primary care for over 40 years. The staff and Dr Holland are very caring and take excellent care of my fur babies. My new little one had a great first experience and I appreciate their wonderful care. Their prices are fair and I trust them implicitly.
