It took us 30 minutes to get seated, which wasn’t so bad since it was a Friday night. It took 30 minutes once seated and ordered to get our salad. Then another hour and a half for the entrée to get there. The scallops were cold in the middle and I had to send them back. Usually we love this place, but this time it just wasn’t a good experience.
We chose to celebrate our 42nd wedding anniversary there and they didn't offer us a dessert for it and seemed like the waiters were more stressed than usual.
I usually like the food at Stone Creek’s Happy Hour. I ordered a new dinner for me. I ordered the Meatloaf. The meatloaf was dry and tasteless. Sorry to say. The meatloaf was too spicy for me as were the green beans that accompanied this dish. The salad was delicious as was my pre dinner martini. The service was excellent. And the waitress give us girls time to talk before dinner. I usually enjoy the Happy Hour dinner menu. The other dishes I have tried have been very good. We have been to Stone Creek many times and it is always great. This time I booked last minute because I was in the mood for their ribeye...it was not good :( Cooked to a perfect medium. I just think the cut was not good. Service was great and we will be back but will likely not order the ribeye again.
