The noise level when sitting near the bar is very loud. Conversation at the round table near the bar is impossible when the bar is full.
Booths uncomfortable and too high - table by window great food great - service great - noise from a large party - unbearable as they were drinking martinis and dropping glasses on the floor with raucous laughter. Otherwise, good food with nice presentation and a birthday dessert.
I have enjoyed the ambiance but food options and quality are at best average. Menu never changes and options are not simple. Tonight's meal was mediocre and the salmon was lukewarm. For a nice environment the menu needs help. Our was server was very good.
Used to love this place- but the last few times it seems dirty... Plates seem greasy at arrival (maybe just old serve ware)... And my daughter found a hair in her sandwich.
Food was well prepared But each persons dish had a twist they weren't prepared for from the menu description,you either embraced this and enjoyed the novel combinations or you did not. I usually. don't like surprises.would have liked the opportunity to say hold the whatever.
