This is our favorite restaurant and we brought a couple that had never been there. The service was very slow so much so that the waitress had to apologized three times. When the food did get there my pasta was hard as a rock. My wife ordered a burger medium rare and it came out well done. I am not sure we will be back. We always enjoy going to Stone Creek but our visit this time was very disappointing. It took an hour to get our food. We were then offered a free dessert. After waiting for about 15 minutes we left our table and went to hostess table to pay our bill. They did comp our meal which was very nice--just disappointed how long we waited for our food.
Now I remember why I have not been here in over 7 years!👎😖👎
Quiet evening server Ian was great but the food was either blandlike the shrimp fettucinni or overcooked like the sirloin or oversalted like the filet. This is average or less food in a nice setting. Drinks overpriced at 13 for vodka martini. Stay away
We only go to Stone Creek for special occasions as it is one of my wife's favorite restaurants. I surprised her with reservations for her birthday dinner this past Saturday evening. We have been before and we will go again. However, this experience was not their best. Their special of the night was the prime rib, which I ordered medium rare. We have been coming to Stone Creek for years because it is within walking distance of our place. We got a preview of the new menu a couple of weeks ago, but got the full new menu at this night of dining. Honestly, we are not a fan and either where friends that I ran into on my way back from the ladies room. I honestly do not feel that Stone Creek has been the same since the change in chefs a couple of years ago. We used to always come in all the time for the blackened mahi mahi. Although you still have it on the menu, it is not nearly as good as it used to be. We were at Stone Creek over the holidays and had a very average meal. We have been to Stone Creek many times. This time was very disappointing. The a/c was not working well at all. When I asked why it was so hot, the server indicated that they have been having a known problem for a couple weeks. I was sweating by the end of the meal. Needless to say I wasn't happy about spending $100 plus for two people to sweat while we ate.
