Food subpar ... Service is okay ... Went to celebrate the first date with my wife ... Service then was bad .. Service now was okay ... Food on both occasions was ehhh! We were going to try and make going here a tradition ... We are going to find another place from now on.
We have eaten at Stone Creek many times and have enjoyed our experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case for this visit. This visit, we waited over an hour for our food. Our server took 15 minutes to bring us a glass of wine. When we asked about the delay, we were told there was a dinner party upstairs. The food was great and our waiter was very good. We have been to Stone Creek the last few years for our anniversary dinner. We had made the reservation online. Due to my poor hearing, we asked for a booth when we got there. We were told we had to ask for a booth when we made the initial reservation. No where did the reservation system note this. We came to celebrate my m's birthday. The service was slow , waiter forgot to order our appetizer. The food came out cold for half of those in our party. They had to send it back for correction. The wine we selected was good. They did however honor our dissatisfaction with a $75 credit to the bill for poor service and problems with thr food.
Our reservation was at 6:45, but they gave our table away despite being on time. We asked for a table by the window yet we were given a table by the kitchen. Service was very slow. It was almost unbelievable. Half-price martini night. If the restaurant is going to do this, they should be ready for a crowd. Poorly managed evening. These are good customers of ours, I was embarrassed and not happy.
We had reservations for dinner and met at the bar before being seated at our table on a Saturday night in November; the bar has nightly news on the TV and no one would change it to college football games. We asked but no response. Will we go back, probably not on Saturday during football and basketball season.
