There were 4 of us for dinner. One lady had soup and there was a piece of plastic in it. 2 out of the 4 dinners had to be sent back as the order was incorrect. Not a good experience at all.
They took baked potatoes off of the menu, which was part of my wife’s favorite meal (filet mignon and baked potato). The service was horrible. Our server came to the table every 30 minutes or so at best. It took almost 45 minutes to get the bread, and even longer to get our soft drinks. Made reservations for booth in dining area and had to be seated in bar area. We only had to wait 5-10 minutes past our 12:30 reservation slot. Garlic mashed potatoes were lumpy, dry and not tasty. Shrimp came out hot but was very tough. Salad was good, fresh and tasty as well as the bread and oil. We have been going to Stone Creek for years, are members of Cunningham restaurant dining club but rarely pass this along to our servers. This is a restaurant we have frequented. This was one of my wife's favorite restaurants oh, so we went there on Mother's Day. After we sat down and started reading the menu, we noticed that everything is different. They've completely changed their menu and almost doubled the prices on some of the steaks. The waitress lied to us and told us that this is something they do often. She acted like we were idiots and have never eaten there before. We didn't even eat and left. It is a shame, but we will never go back there again.
The place was jammed, and was 30 minutes to be seated after our scheduled reservation time (we arrived on time). It was another 1.5 hours (2 hours after arrival) before our kids got their food. The food quality was actually really good, but the service and kitchen were a wreck. Our entrees came out relatively cold, and mine was missing the sauce (my wife ordered the same an hers had it). We went to Stone Creek for the Easter Brunch. As we discovered, this location wasn't doing the Easter Brunch like the other locations were. More my fault than theirs. We stayed anyway. We ordered off the regular menu and I'd say the food was just okay. It wasn't bad, but it definitely was great or even good for that matter, especially considering the price. The Greenwood location has always provided me with amazing quality and service. I'll probably be returning to Greenwood going forward.
