Poor service. Cold food. We typically love Stone Creek but this was a very poor experience.
We were actually disappointed this visit. The waitress didn’t know to mix the oil for the bread so we got a glob of oil but no seasoning. We had to ask for refills. The entire desert menu had changed, and all I’d wanted was plain old strawberry cheesecake. The broccoli we had to cut with a steak knife and it had no buttery seasoning. And perhaps the menu had changed on the two pork chop entree, as we ordered from memory, but it too had entirely changed in how it was prepared. It was a very uneven experience. Restaurant looks great, server was adequate but the steaks were over cooked, fruit flies by the bar and there was even food on the menus. Horrible experience that a free desert can’t fix.
The early bird was not tasty and not worth the price The salmon was covered in citrus vinegarette and did not taste fresh. The waiter did not explain the preparation and the salad dressing w as like ketchup
The food is usually on point and exactly what we expect. Unfortunately a member of our group had to send his salmon special back due to not being cooked at all. They offered to cook another one but we declined because everyone else was already eating.
My family and I have been to Stone Creek before many times, the soup and salad is Amazing. So we thought we would come for a business meal. It was absolutely appalling. It started out great. Bread was fantastic, salads were awesome. Then come the entrees. I got the parmesan chicken. Oh. My. God. I actually went home and got sick, and I rarely ever get sick. Service was horrible, food was average at best
Waited 1 hour for food. We got our meal comped which was nice but still not worth the hour wait. Our food was not great. Steaks and salmon were dry, scallops were gritty. We had to ask for sugar for iced tea more than once and ordered 2 glasses of wine we never received. This used to be one of our favorite places but has not been good the last few times. We won’t be back.
We have gone to Stone Creek for years and have generally had a good experience. Tonight, however, was not the case. We had reservations for 5 at 7pm. When we arrived at 7 we were told it would be “just a few minutes”. It was a very busy Friday night. Waiting a few minutes was understandable. When we hadn’t been seated at 730 we asked the hostess.
