Poor! We made a reservation with request for a specific table. I called the day prior also to confirm the table and was told that they had it noted. When we arrived, they had given the table to another party. We had 7 in our party. Food came out for 3 people and the other 4 had to wait another 15-20 minutes for our food. No manager ever acknowledged any issues at our table. This was for my father’s 86th birthday party. We will not be back.
Our service was terrible. We have eaten here twice before and liked it very much. Our waiter did not bring the starter bread.I had to ask for it after the appetizer was eaten and our salads were eaten. Our appetizer was finished before we got our drinks. My daughter asked for more wine to have with dinner. He delivered it 20 minutes later after her food was delivered and cold. We are Cunningham Restaurant regulars. We are on our 14th Frequent Flyer card. The management and wait staff are always top notch. So this is just feedback on the food quality. I ordered a Ribeye and my wife ordered ribs and white cheddar au gratin potatoes. I very seldom complain about my food. But it was the worst quality steak I have ever eaten. Service was poor. Asked three times for ice and never received any. Was charged double for drinks because our waitress dropped the first order on the floor. Burger was not cooked to order.
We were seated and our waiter came over to check on what we wanted for drinks. We ordered drinks and he said he would bring out bread. We got our drinks and water also. No bread. We finally got our bread about a minute before our meals came out. We both ordered our steaks to be medium rare but they came out medium. We had waited quite a while to get our meals so we did not want to wait to have to re done. Since moving to Plainfield two years ago Stone Creek had been one of our favorite haunts. We typically eat there about once a month on one of our Thursday "date nights" out. We were previously there with our broker two week prior to our Thursday 3/14/18 visit. 1.
