Visited this place 4 times in the last year and a half. Our 2017 Honda Civic was bottoming out on the cracks in the freeway, after driving over deep potholes in Lake Tahoe back roads. 6/19/23 took it to Stress-Free, and they diagnosed the problem as leaking shock absorbers, showing me pictures of the problem. $600 for 2 new shocks for a car with only 21,820 miles? Could not blame the pot holes for all the problem, as we bought this car as a demo back in 2018 with 6500 miles, and you know how customers take it out on loaners ... read more

Came in to investigate a tire leak. Their very helpful technicians walked me through the whole process of what to expect. They were relatively prompt even around holiday times, and I'm happy with the prices offered for repair and replacement.

Following is an update as of 11/20/2024: For starters, Stress-Free Auto care could not do tire rotation during the initial service, due to the non-availability of a special lug nut wrench. Stress-Free had asked me to get this from the Lexus parts store. They also left a comment on my account that the tire rotation would be performed free when the lug nut wrench is available. Stress Free Auto Care has been a great experience. Kind and attentive customer service with honesty and not pushy. Scheduling was easy and convenient. I brought my 2018 Ford F-150 for brake replacement - service was quick and thorough. I will be a returning customer.

I often dread going to the dealership for maintenance because some service advisors try to push services before even seeing my car. That wasn't the case at Stress-Free Auto Care. I brought my car in for a tire rotation the other day and Michael made the process quick and easy. The complementary inspection and accompanying report were very much appreciated. This was the best interaction I've had with a car repair place in the Bay Area for expectation setting, communications, clarity of pricing, etc. It was easy to schedule. I trust that the work was done well. That said, it's more expensive than others, possibly approaching dealer pricing for repairs ...but with fewer headaches. I am likely to use them again.

Both Michael and Mike are wonderful. They are knowledgeable and precise on the suggested repair works that are required. Work done nicely and in timely manner. I would recommend Stress-free Auto to those who need their cars fixed.

I was very pleased with my service at the Menlo Park. Ross communicated effectively throughout the process and they were very transparent with the timing and cost of the repair. This was my first time using them but they have earned my repeat business. Highly recommended.
