I do not usually pay for a diagnostic but this was worth it and thorough for my 11 year old car. My repairs were explained thoroughly by the mechanic, not by someone interpreting for the shop and it felt trustworthy and professional.

I have recently begun to bring my 2005 GMC 2500 HD pickup truck to Stress-Free Auto Care and am pleasently surprised at the high level of service. Also the use of technology to keep me informed on the progress of maintenance and repairs. While my truck is in the shop technicians perform a full inspection and both photgraph and video potential issues requiring various levels of attention. Have a challenge with my car.......went to Stress Free Auto Care in Orangevale CA ......they tested my car and recommend that I take my car to Hyundai Dealer......they did not charge me for Diagnostic.... WOW great service.....

My 1998 Ford Explore needs smog check for registration renew. I tried two places and got the same problem: the engine RMP couldn't hold 2500RPM for the smog test; I was referred to Kenely for smog related repair. Kenely was able to pass the smog test without additional repair / cost. And the smog check price is the best among the three shops I visited. Outstanding!
The master cylinder in my daughters 2009 focus went out, I took my car to kenely. A mechanic advised to replace with a genuine ford replacement over a generic part. They stuck to their quote and did the excellent work. As a father I felt confident in the repair, and was done correct by any standard.
I must commend them on their fantastic customer service. They exemplify the qualities of customer service skills that everyone wishes all business people would or could possess and can't or won't in today's world. To a lot of people, that art form is lost and long gone. But when you come across it on a rare occasion as I did, it warrants at the very least, recognition. We've received one response who said they would do a diagnostic test with a cost of $100. Everyone unable to assist.

The service men were polite and good with communication. I did not end up having the work done so I can't comment on quality of the work. The reason for two stars is that they released my car to the tow company without my permission. The insurance nor body shop had the right to take the car without my permission. This ended up causing me a lot of extra work and headache.
