Great location, not great service The hotel has a wonderful location but the service and food was not spectacular. It is an extremely family oriented hotel. It is also nothing swanky, but as a student the all inclusive package is good enough since you would really only be at the hotel to eat and sleep.
Cancuun relaxationtrip I only stayed 1 night here as I was trying out different hotels. Awesome value and service. I had an incredible room. I was told they redid the top 2 floors and that was where I was. I had a balcony facing bay, and side window facing beach. Was a small mini bar in room. Nice pool and service at bar. Several nice restaurants (Buffets) I heard some nights there was sit down meals that you needed reservations for, but not the night I was there (Saturday night) Said there was a show but none. Better for older kids The hotel and staff were very nice, but if you are traveling with small kids there simply was not enough activities at the resort. Excursions were a must to keep them busy.
Mar 3-10th vacation. We did the all inclusive package and were very satisfied. The food was good and the entertainment provided was also good. Everyone at the hotel always treated us very well. We were there for a week with family and friends and had a very nice time. The beach in front of the hotel is also very nice. Nice and clean and ocean was beautiful.
Best for the Buck... Period The Sunset Royal wasone of the best places I have stayed at in Cancun! Ive been 5 times in the past and this was the nicest for the money. The Staff was by far the most helpful i have ever seen! If you like a relaxing vacation and quiet atmosphere this place is great. Would go back! We had a great time and were very pleased with this hotel. Time share people were no problem. they asked if we were interested and we said no and that was that. You can ask for top shelf drinks and no extra cost. Service and meals were great !! Played live music in the small bar at night. drinks served around the pool and on the beach!! was there for a week and never got sick of the food. room service was good also. best all inclusive i have been to in cancun and this was my 6th time!!
Fun for the family The staff were excellent - cleanliness superb, food selection amazing. Excellent view of the ocean, wonderful beach. The only drawbacks were that there was not enough availability for shade (umbrellas and protection was limited), and the second "double bed" for the kids was just a hard couch. There were many activities on site, and the kids loved the pool!
Family Holiday We had an amazing holiday and couldn't ask for more. The hotel staff - Ariel, Angel, Dani Lou and Entertainment staff were all amazing. Our 16 year old and 12 year old had a super time. The location was amazing and the food was awesome. I couldn't have asked for anything more.
