Royal Sunset = Cancun Party Life Our stay at Royal Sunset was the best. Upon arrival they treat you like royalty!! The entertainment team is hilarious and show you a wonderful time. Everyone is friendly and attentive and the locals are so kind and helpful.The clubs are within a 5 minute walk so party all night long every day is available!!!! 3 times a week at the hotel there is live music and they are great!!! Nothing in minibar. 1 bed and 1 washcloth for 2 ppl. Restaurant over 1 hour wait. No money at hotel for change or exchange for 2 days
The hotel Expedia recommended was overbooked. When we arrived at Sunset Royal Beach, an all inclusive hotel, they checked us in and after we paid the room taxes they informed us they were overbooked. They said they would put us in a better hotel that was down the street; however, the hotel, Hacienda Tres Ríos was an hour away. The room was supposed to be an upgrade but we had to ask them to stock the refrigerator, bring a blow dryer, the phone wasn’t working properly, the plug next to the bed wasn’t working, the back door wo... read more
We were not able to check into Sunset Royal. Apparently, they had overbooked and sent us to a different resort with restrictions and horrible location. We met a few other families with the same situation, and they also booked with Expedia. Are they doing it to all Expedia Reservations? I am losing faith in Expedia. Ruined my vacation.
Beach was very nice,rooms were very clean but food and drinks weren’t the best.
