These people are amazing when other pet clinics one pet clinic actually wanted $6000.00 up front to treat my dog over thanks giving and my boxer was dying by the way from a Parasite found in raw salmon but anyways pet clinic didn't ask anything about money star treatment immediately right away save my dogs life took care of them over Thanksgiving weekend and I still have a healthy happy healthy puppy thanks to the pet clinic these guys are awesome thank you very much if it wasn't for them caring more about the animals then ... read more

We've used this clinic before to have our first dog spayed and our experience was good. No complaints. This was back in 2013 or so. At that time I would have given them a solid 4, maybe even a 5. The other day, my husband stopped by to ask about the process of having our new puppy spayed here. This review is for the front receptionist only and not the vets as we did not see one of them. This is the most thoughtful office. When I had to put dog asleep The were understanding an let us spend time together. Then they sent a card with her paw print afterwards! From the front desk, vet technician, and veterinarian I would recommend their clinic

I'm really happy I chose this Clinic to go to to bring my newly adopted cat in. I'm new in town and was looking for a walk-in clinic like I had at home. Called around and most places told me they were by appointment only. One of the clinics recommended this place for walk-ins and I called ahead. Nothing but great things to say about this clinic! I was seriously impressed with the level of care especially since I have a French Bulldog and him being neutered was a big deal. They treat both my dogs great and have very friendly staff. We were greeted as soon as we came in and helped pretty fast. I also enjoy the fact that they uploaded the information to the app we use to keep track of our dogs information.

If your going to go here prepare for a wait it's just how it is with walk ins and no online appointments. They are really kind there and helped my border collie who decided to be have hot spots on his bum. They do come back with a lengthy list of things that you can politely say no to and they don't push you to buy or accept the treatment. Ex they wanted me to pay 10$ for a scent collar and do shots which he is up to date just not in their system. I said no . And they didn't pressure me. Not like petco or petsmart do. I CANNOT say ENOUGH good things about Value pet clinic of Tacoma. We've had 2 cats and 3 dogs under their care. We had an emergent situation 2 yrs ago with our then 2 yr old labradoodle which could've been fatal, had it not been for the quick and thorough treatment our pup received. We had a 13 yr old American Eskimo who was dealing with congestive heart failure which was managed expertly by the vets at Vpc for over 2 yrs, unfortunately we had to make the decision to put him to sleep. To me this clinic and it staff were so great with my dog. Had a British doctor and my dog was her first patient. She took real good of my dog. In Sep 2016 I had to put her down. After I found what they do when this happens I knew I did the right thing. They were so kind the stuff sent me a card with all there name. I have moved to Lacey but I do plan to come back . Thank you !

Best place for vaccinations. They are fast, friendly, and affordable. The only bummer is this place does not take appointments, it's drop-in only, so sometimes the wait times can be lengthy. If I have other errands to run, and I see several folks with pets in the waiting room, I'll take my dog to Home Depot around the corner as they are dog-friendly, or run errands and come back.
