Called a couple of weeks ago to see what the microchip process was. Had heard they had walkin services. Advised them we had not used them before. The receptionist was nice and asked if she could place me on hold to check on something. She came back and said that we would need to bring in proof of current rabies vax and also advised when they were closed for lunch. Awesome. I took my recuse dog in for his annual exam and shots. He was adopted by us last year, and we were provided paperwork stating he was up to date on his shots by the adoption agency. My dog's appointment was at 1:30pm. When I arrived there was no one at the front desk and the lobby was empty. I waited until someone showed up. Poor service I've noticed a huge decline at this clinic... I went a few weeks ago with my Husky and baby to get his ear checked. He had an ear infection and the estimate was almost 2,000$... on top of that we were there for TWO hours waiting. We had an appointment and waited two hours... it was a sh*t show having to wait with my baby and dog for that long. Absolute butcher shop. I am not one to leave reviews but I am appalled. Took my two large dogs here for simple lipoma/wart removals, instantly noticed that the suture job was not conducive for proper healing. The skin was greatly puckering on either side of each incision site and one was even made to be so tight that the skin was buckling the entire way though. Wish I could rate this place lower than one star. Ive been going there for 5 years and always pay the bills that I have to comb thru to make sure they didn't add any extra non sense which they tend to do quite often. I went in and they quoted me $1800 for a removal of a tumor in my dogs mouth. As I go there often I asked about a payment plan. She said she had to go ask. I would not recommend this animal hospital. They are definitely trying to take advantage of people here and swindle innocent unknowing people out of their money. Thankfully I read the reviews beforehand and was prepared to stand my ground when they tried to offer obscene services that had nothing to do with the reason for being seen. I also did not like that they take your pet away from you out of the room to perform any "procedures" so you can't even see what is being done, if anything. Not even worth my time to explain all the reasons I will never return to this clinic. I should have checked their reviews before going. Just adding another 1 star for their rating, as other folks have already said plenty about these uncompassionate swindlers.
Took my dog here for his eye having problems and they tryd charging me 900$ before even touching him or examining him, and when they did, it was beyond to quick to determine what was actually goin on with his eye. When they applied the eye medicine u can see the vet missing his eye completely and then saying all done. While all the treatment eye drops were on his face not in his eye. NOT VALUE PET CLINIC ANYMORE! !! When it was value pet clinic it was a good place for pets. Now they just want to upsell you and completely overcharged me admittedly. My regular check up visit ended up costing me twice as much because THEY did not inform me properly plus they couldn't do anything about it he said. The whole experience felt violating and the vet barely pet him let alone "examined" anything. In the end my routine check up nearly cost me $900 and I didn't have any kind of emergency.
