If I could give negative 5 stars I would! My cat has cat herpes and was having an episode. I took him in, gave his symptoms. They started telling me all this BS, quoted me $1,600 dollars for all these tests they wanted to do to "find out" what was wrong with him. Wanted to do a chest x ray and all this stuff. I paid for a $300 test that "that test will tell us EXACTLY what he has". Once they did the test they said no we don't know what's wrong with him. I took our puppy in yesterday for a red, swollen paw. I explained that I was concerned she may have been stung by a wasp or a potential sprain. We had given her trazodone in the morning to keep her from running and jumping on it, as I had explained she'd been doing. So she was practically asleep during the entire exam-no wincing or anything while assessing her. The vet immediately stated she thought she had a fracture. Presented me with a $1400 quote. I was shocked to see a post on their Instagram captioned "Raw moments in vet med" of an employee here uncapping a syringe in an unsafe manner. This is a serious violation of OSHA safety guidelines and raises concerns about proper training and protocols at this facility. Safe handling of medical equipment is critical in any veterinary setting to protect both staff and patients. I hope management takes this matter seriously and reinforces proper safety practices.

WARNING . Only go here if you are ready to pay big Bucks ....They are Money hungry and not ashamed to let it be known! I came in to treat an abscess , 2 different people trying to get me to sign up to their monthly plan (83$a month). Wanted to neuter him at the same time he was fighting an infection which I declined. Then also told me he's diabetic ... which was a lie . 1600$ later , no antibiotics and this is how he was sent home ....

I made an appointment with Tacoma Animal Hospital, because I could not get an appointment with my regular vet. Before the vet appointment, I kept getting a text from them, suggesting purchasing pet insurance, which made me feel as if this place is only in it for the money, so I thought of giving them the benefit of doubt, On the appointment date, everything seemed to be going well, we did not have to wait long. PLEASE READ IF YOU HAVE ANY WORKING CLASS DOG‼i will give one star because if the previous staff and how great the 1st few years were but expect to have your k9 mislabeled at best ...this is not a short review and I would be complaining to whatever cooperate entity I could if I had the info for sure... I find this practice absolutely disgusting and predatory, they will do everything they can to gouge you and run up as big of a bill as they possibly can. I brought my cat in for a non emergency visit and without asking permission or running anything past me used what I can only imagine was everything they possibly could on my animal and prescribed so much medicine and handed me a bill that could've been a down payment on a car. I would give it a if I would rate the first class veterinarians. They are all wonderful with the animals and their humans. The front desk has a lot to lern though. The last two times, they messed my finances up badly. First time they did bloodwork that cost me $ 500, because they where'd include in my Paws plan. This time they charged me for 11 months of super expensive flea/tick prevention and bounced my account. They corrected it the next day after I called, but who is covering the overdraft fees? I took my dog a couple months a ago because she needed the rabies vaccine and flea medicine . Just by looking at the vet said she had an ear infection with out even taking the time to check her ears or any other parts . They came back with a bill of al is 2k to have all these tests done on her . I told them : I came here for rabies vaccine and flea medicine my dog has no ear Infection so that's what a got .
