Came on a Saturday evening after shopping. It was pretty busy but luckily there was no line. We got seated outside which had a really bad sewer smell. Our server came and took our order & our food came out quickly. We ordered 2 lenguas, 1 suadero, 1 cabeza and 1 campechano with no beans. The tortilla was good, meat was all tender but the meat lacked flavor. Tbh we were a bit disappointed. My daughter ate the lengua and suadero and said both tasted like mostly onions and was too soggy for her liking. Usually my daughter can e... read more

We stopped by Tacos El Franc in San Diego (Bonita Mall location) and gave it a try. The 3-pack we ordered included Lengua, Cabeza, and Tripa - the Lengua was our favorite. The Clamato drink was a nice pairing. The atmosphere was decent and the service was friendly. A solid option for tacos.

Hi, Raffie. We are thrilled to learn that you had a positive experience with us!
The service was great and fast! The waitress Celia is really kind and strait-forward. The food was good as well as the Mexican colas! (Put a squeeze of lime in the cola and it is amazing!) the ambiance is friendly and talkative. It truly is a nice place to be. My mom thought it was mediocre. An anonymous 9 year old.

Hi, Heather. Thank you so much for leaving us a stellar review!
I went yesterday to try them and see if there were the same as tj and the tacos were flavorful. I would only ask for a very spicy salsa, apart from that everything was perfect, our server Alejandra was top notch, fast service. Definitely coming back.

Hi, Juan. Thank you so much for your review! We’re glad you enjoyed it and can’t wait to see you again soon. – Team Tacos El Franc
Street tacos with a $6-$8 price tag. The food was good, but I definitely think it was hyped up, and I was expecting jaw-dropped wow, but just got standard. All the tacos have pretty much the same toppings with the meat being the variable. My favorite part was the horchata, very creamy, cinnamon was smooth.

Michaela, we understand your view on price. Our commitment is to use quality ingredients, careful preparation, and service that reflects an authentic Tijuana taco experience. Thank you for pointing this out — we’ll keep working to make every visit worth it. — Tacos El Franc Team
They have amazing homemade tortillas which sets them apart from other taco spots. The suadero was spicy and flavorful, the favorite of the meats we tried. The adobada had pineapple in it which added a sweet and savory flavor, but was hoping it also came with the same spicy sauce as the suadero.

Hi, Ben. We are thrilled to learn that you had a positive experience with us!
Hands down the BEST lengua tacos I've ever had the privilege to devour. This location is located inside Westfield mall and is a sit down joint. Prices are on the more expensive side but I appreciate being able to be seated before I order. It was a $5 extra charge if we wanted extra onions and jalapeños/chilli though. We tried the carne asada, adobada, brisket, and lengua. Everything (besides the lengua) was good but nothing mind blowing... but once I had a taste of that lengua, I would drive 30+ mins out to eat at this pla... read more
