We are always on the look out for new taco shops so while at the mall we gave this spot a try. Our waiter was friendly and the food came out very quickly. One star was removed because there was lack of flavor on the meat. Maybe expecting more for the price ? We also really enjoy having rice and didn't see it on the menu. Perhaps, also having green salsa instead of red or an option when ordering? We are open to giving it a try again in the future.

For my first time, we waited in a short line to get a table on a Saturday afternoon for 4. The waiter was prompt and offered drinks upon our arrival. That food was great! I had a mula and a Canesa taco, beans on the side. Friends had quesadilla, lengua taco, campechanga taco, chilis and onions. We all loved the food. Loved the simplicity of the menu. Can't get over how much the fountain drinks are! Almost 6 bucks for what would look almost the same size as a Starbucks grande. Wowee, I'm getting too old for that one! Lol Wish... read more

Food Food was outstanding! I love that Tacos El Franc is in my backyard. I highly recommend getting Mixto and Adobada with grilled pineapples! Amaze balls! Service Excellent! They understand and execute the meaning of superb customer service. Friendly, attentive and respectful. Ambiance Once I sat down, closed my eyes. I felt like I was in the Tacos El Franc in Tijuana. Bangin ass tacos. Got carne asada. Adobada. Tripa. Cabeza. And lengua. All were flavorful and service was great. Thursday night came by. No wait and got food quickly.

The tacos were amazing. Generous portions as well. Very clean restaurant, service was also very friendly and efficient. Will definitely be coming back for more tacos.

I give them 3.5 stars & might get closer to 4 as I will continue to come. If you know Taco Shops you'll know Franc is one of the most popular ones in TJ, known for their carne asada & in my opinion the best here or in TJ. As they make their presence known in SD they are starting to get a nice following here which I'm happy for them. You got to start with the tortillas, yes they are very good, like I said they have the best Carne Asada in my opinion & one of the better Tripa tacos I've had. The food was delicious and the service from Marylin the bar tender was amazing! She's the sweetest bartender/ server we've ever met! Just left tacos, El Frank in national city and got the best service by Linda Marie. She was very attentive. She was very high spirited and energetic, and to top it off she was very polite and gave me her opinion on what she thought was the best tacos. I've been here before, but I didn't really like the tacos that I got, this time. I got the adobada tacos And they were pretty good. I will start going there to get my tacos, but Linda Marie service was amazing and top-notch and she should be commended for it. Thank you!
