Finding a good taco spot in SoCal isn't that hard! Prices on the other hand generally are. This place opened about 6 months ago and is located in the heart of nasty city (Plaza Bonita). I've been to the one in Tijuana, Mexico (I wasn't a big fan). However, this place did not disappoint! I had two adobada tacos and my beautiful wife had the mulita de adobada. Both were very good! Would give a five star but the quesadillas are not quesadillas , these are just oversized tacos. I'm from near the border of Texas (where REAL Mexican food is) and these things they serve here are far from quesadillas. Everything else I tried was good like the loaded fries and adobo and asada tacos but I just wanted to emphasize the quesadillas. Get the adobado taco!! Delicious little street tacos in the Plaza Bonita mall. Very casual seat urself and u get a server and can order from the table. Fresh guac on some of the taco options, you do have to ask for radish and cucumber from the server if u want them. Their hot sauce and silverware u would get up and get urself but servers bring everything else and they clear ur table and plates pretty quickly. Good spot for TJ style street tacos.

There were a couple people in line before us but we all got seated very quick. The location is very clean and service is quick. We ordered lots of things and kept ordering while eating. Server was very attentive and well informed of the menu items to help us understand what they were. Adobada tacos had a good marinade and came with guacamole, onions, cilantro, and salsa. Adobada tacos is my absolute favorite at this spot. It seems my husband and I go at least once a week, we can't find anything wrong about this place. All the aguas frescas are yummy! Highly recommend :)

Tacos are really good we had great service from arlete. She took her time explained all the questions we had in regards to meat options and even gave us extra sauce on the side and offered us different options with tortilla the tortillas. If you get her as your waitress please tip her she's freaking awesome!

We went to Tacos El Franc for dinner and were seated pretty quickly, which was a good start. The atmosphere is casual and laid-back, with a typical neighborhood taqueria vibe--nothing fancy, but comfortable enough for a relaxed meal. Food-wise, it delivered. Food is awesome! Best tacos in San Diego. Service is great, it's a dine in place and they get the food out really fast. Ambiance is nice, kind of loud but not too bad. Family friendly. My wife, friends and I are huge fans!

First time at this location and finally got a chance to try as its been on my saved collection since it opened up at the Plaza Bonita mall. Everytime I've come by, its typically been a weekend and the line is long. I understand why now, why this location is big inside and outside seating, it is table service!
