Food is awesome! Best tacos in San Diego. Service is great, it's a dine in place and they get the food out really fast. Ambiance is nice, kind of loud but not too bad. Family friendly. My wife, friends and I are huge fans!

First time at this location and finally got a chance to try as its been on my saved collection since it opened up at the Plaza Bonita mall. Everytime I've come by, its typically been a weekend and the line is long. I understand why now, why this location is big inside and outside seating, it is table service! Tried this for the first time on Saturday 12/6 and was disappointed with the service at the bar. First, the server misunderstood the order multiple times. That's okay, misunderstandings happen! The food came out in less than 5 minutes and it was great. The meat was flavorful and the tortilla was nice & soft. However, we finished our meal and still did not receive the soda we ordered. Ok I'm a fan! Tacos El Franc opened in National City in July 2025. According to their website, they pride themselves as "The Original Tijuana Tacos Since 1996". Also recognized by Michelin Guide Tijuana in 2024 and 2025. I finally made it there to eat with my roommate in September 2025. There are two things that will bring me back to a certain restaurant. The food and the customer service. Tacos El Franc has both of these 100 percent. I have dine in three times already and the food and people continue to be great. Of course, there is somethings I don't like. On this last visit I was charged almost 5 dollars for chiles and Cebollas which I didn't mind paying, until I received them. I got two chiles that appeared to have been sitting since the day before. We've eaten at the one in Mexico. So decided to try it. It was good. Just didn't meet expectations. The service was friendly. The meats were good. Salsas as well. Just needed a little more flavor. But over all it was a nice and clean space. Friendly staff. And very festive.

Food was okay. Prices are very high for what you get. Nothing was over the top delicious. The establishment is very clean and there's a lot of parking. I doesn't taste anything like their TJ location.

Tacos El Franc is located inside a mall. There's already a line in the morning before they even open. They bring you in and seat you and then come by to take your order. When ordering in a big group, it gets a little confusing because they're so many tacos coming out when available, so not all of your food will come out at once. The meats are good and the tacos come pretty loaded. The meats are fresh and flavorful. The drinks offered were refreshing as well. Their asada fries were so good.

My kids and I tried this place yesterday. Such a cute spot and the customer service was on point. It was so nice to actually sit down and be served after being on our feet all day. We had adobada tacos and carne asada. We also ordered a quesadilla on the side. I regret not ordering more quesadillas. They were so delicious. My boys are all about the cheese pull. Anyway, we all loved the delicious tacos. They are my new favorite spot, and even my two picky boy's said they're the best in town. We will be back!
