Run from this company. I called them in January 2025 and they assured me my case qualified for a resolution and the amount of back taxes I owed for 2021 and 2022 would be listed as uncollected tax debt. They took $3200 of my money which I had to put on a credit card. Its now March 2026 and I still owe the *** the same amount plus all their insane penalties and interest. I reached out to Tax Rise in late January for tax relief. My wife had been fighting cancer the previous year and things became very tight. I paid the initial $375 fee and made arrangements to pay an additional $1500 which payments have been made. I was assured that everything would be taken care of and to not worry. I received a letter from the state of Indiana on March 9th, telling me that if my state tax was not paid by June that my real estate license would not be renewed. DO NOT USE!! I paid $3500 for their service in May of 2025 to help with back taxes. They did assist with filing my 2023 returns however it took 10 months. I was calling weekly then daily with very little progress. They told me I had nothing to worry about until a resolution was completed. I will give ***** **** and TaxRise who he represents, negative stars for false promises.TaxRise have slick gabby people like ***** **** who verbally give you an overall solution for a fixed amount. In my case it was $375. Did not hear back for 3-4 months when I sent ***** emails. ***** **** again scheduled a call and this time he has totally changed his tune. My husband and I signed up for tax relief since we had back taxes owed. We already had a payment plan for one year of owed taxes that I set up on my own. Now when we spoke with tax rise they advised us we could get it removed completely due to the inflation and not having extra funds to pay the ***. I called them because I have a tax debt and wanted to see if it could be resolved. I was advised that I had to pay $375 and would have an answer on the amount the *** would accept/agreement on the next call. However, they can not give me the amount as they would need to address the *** which means that I would need to pay additional fees. Keep in mind that I advised on the first call that I was capable of paying the entire amount off. However, they still took my money. First thing they lie about what they offer as a business. They charge fees they don't tell you about. They say they value you as a client but fail to contact and inform you, fail to file anything timely, fail to answer your questions or calls I am on hold with them and have been for 55 oh wait 56 minutes while I am typing this. So I spoke with ***** **** about my taxes. He was professional and courteous . But...it feels like it's all for show. I've been waiting for a while for my taxes to be completed but always says it is still in preparation. I will NEVER EVER USE THEM AGAIN. They will not be doing my recent taxes. As many people I have talked to nothing changes. I I could give a zero score I would.
