I contacted Taxrise back I 2020 in regards to back taxes owed over $50,000 in hopes of at least getting debt negotiated to an amount I could afford to pay on a monthly basis. Not only did I come out of this situation worst, but taxrise charged me $12,0000 for their services. This is not right and I failed to see how they can advertise a fresh start program when this kind of stuff is happening..I'm pretty upset about my results and looking at a big monthly payment thar I don't know now how I'm going to make it..**** J

I hired Tax Rise over a year ago. I paid a little over $3k for them to help me negotiate with the *** and file my late taxes. It has taken me so long to get anyone to respond. I would call J who was the first person they gave me and weeks later I would finally get a call back. Usually, the response was....it is still being processed. Then I would call and threaten to call the BBB and I would receive a call back. Tax Rise reached out to me in 2019 to help with my tax issues from 2016 to 2018. I paid them for the tax investigation which cost $500 and $5,370 for Resolution towards State and Federal. Since 2019, the only effort that has been made is my Case Manager responding back to emails asking for the same thing over and over again. The *** now has my account in collections and a lien. I contacted Tax Rise on Thursday January 27 2022. Talked with someone VERY helpful. However, I did ask that I needed to look at my expenses over the weekend to determine if I could afford the fee and before making a decision. The person took my account number and GUARANTEED he would "call you on Monday to verify before taking any money." That was the 31st. I contacted Tax rise in 2018 to help with tax issues. Paid them Over $3000 never heard a word no resolution. Now that Ive hired a legitimate company to resolve my issues they have contacted me in writing finally and want another $1200 to continue my case. What a joke. They took my money and did NOTHING. Scam artist and liars.

I have been with this company nearly four years and the only timely thing they have done was to collect my fee. They , my advisor, does not acknowledge when I send documents. Then she emails me many times that she cant find tax returns I sent inbut suddenly finds them. I have still been paying IRS from my pocket with no ********** in site. This form has been a major disappointment. The fee I paid them could have paid my back taxes.

They are very good at collecting money, they are very poor at given the service. ***** was my manager.. The irs is now collecting double what i owe.
