I thought that I was going to be impressed since this restaurant was a part of Matchbox but I was so wrong. The food at Ted's was just ordinary. I had the chicken and shrimp kabobs and it didn't have a lot of flavor. The rice pilaf was bland. We had the onion rings to start and they needed salt. My friend had the steak and it wasn't seasoned well at all. Overall, I would not go back to this restaurant.

This is my second and last time to Ted's... The employee I spoke with by phone before my reservation for 4 was unaware/undertrained with what was on the menu, that I asked about, specifically, the "Millionaire Malt" the girl who answered the phone had to "axe" someone else, (that's how she pronounced it repeatedly) to see if they still had it on the menu, then when she "axed" the bartender and got back on the phone, all she said was... While I love Ted's service and ambiance, the food continuously falls flat. We ordered a pumpkin chocolate chip cake. The cake and the presentation looked great. However, it was not pumpkin, there was a scant amount of chips, and the cake was dry, fell apart, and tasted bland. I think their other restaurant, Matchbox, is a much better option. Also, on 8th St, there are many better options. Sorry, Ted!

Our waitress Tasha appeared to be on top of it at first, but then disappeared as soon as we got our meal. She forgot part of the order and she never came by the see how the food was. It was about 15 minutes after we got our food that someone in our party finally got up and found her standing around near the kitchen. He asked her for the item and she did not bring it for another 10 minutes (a dipping sauce) And then she disappeared again until the end, handed us the check before we were even given a chance to order dessert. I desperately want to like Ted's Bulletin. But the food just isn't very good and it is over priced.

The service was terrible, food was mediocre. If you go for dinner or lunch stick with the sandwiches and avoid all of the entrees and I think you will be better off. The milkshakes are delicious but arguably overpriced and when your milkshake arrives mostly melted it is even less tasty. The homemade pop-tarts are a delicious treat and only $3 which is outrageous for a pop-tart but worth the investment.

Thought I liked this place until I found multiple bugs in my salad. I called immediately after since I was there for a business lunch and was reimbursed for the unwashed salad. Probably will not be back.

...in the sense that the food was bland and the staff seemed totally used to parents allowing their children to run around underfoot. it took 20 minutes to get a drink, 20 more to order, and then food came before drinks. soggy fries, cold country-fried steak, cold sides.
