Was looking forward to here for awhile. When friends came to visit I took them there for lunch. Made reservations and plans to meet them there. Friends arrived on time told staff the reservation was under my name and were seated. I arrived a few minutes later, only to be told that my party had not arrived. I knew this to not be true because I had received several text messages. After phone calls etc. turns out my friends had been there all along. Staff did nothing to rectify the mistake. Moreover, they seated us in an noisy ... read more
We had an early reservation and were seated in the far corner between parties with children. The child behind us was very loud and disruptive. When we asked the server to change our table she appeared miffed and reluctant to do so. Her first comment was that if she could arrange a different table she would not be our server. The restaurant was about 20 percent ful
Bad service. We were told out waitress would be a minute as she was talking to the manager. Really? Don't sit me there or find someone else. It was clear when she showed up she was not happy. Forgot parts of meal and had to track her down for check. God was average at best. However, the bakery is amazing.
Comfort food much better at founding farmers with much better service. Did not even stay for dessert was so ready to get out of there with noise level.
The place is nice, but the food is ok. If you wanna have a conversation go somewhere else, because you can rarely speak there. Super noisy. An acoustic work should be done there. Great waiters though!
First time going for dinner here with a friend. Good waitress, had to wait for apetizers forever. Order meatloaf that was soak on ketchup and you taste more the ketchup than the meat. My fried asked for a fry and fries were soggy and drenched in oil as all the reat of her meal.
I wasn't impressed. I'll say up front that I'm a vegetarian and know full well that diners often offer limited vegetarian options. (And that's what Ted's is, a high-concept diner.) I had checked the menu online beforehand and was satisfied with the couple of options available. One of them turned out to be much more food than what I wanted for lunch, so I opted for a basic omelet. To be blunt, the egg tasted like rubber and the filling (spinach and mushrooms) was pretty skimpy. The hash browns were fine, although a small port... read more
I eat here often but I think I've learned to like Ted's for brunch or lunch much better. Dinner just was not great for the price paid. I had the kabobs which is one chicken and one shrimp. On the chicken, you only get three pieces of chicken. On the shrimp, you only get three shrimp. Comes with veggies on the kabob, rice and one side for $17 or so. Dining companion had meatloaf, which was a large meal and he said it was okay. Server seemed annoyed to be working, which is unusual here. Will return for lunch and brunch but pro... read more
The service was friendly and efficient. The food is another story. Good: Brussel Sprouts, BBQ beans and Green bean sides. (Green beans cooked "Southern" style--soft and salty.) Bad: The ribs were completely dry and tasteless, even when I covered them with sauce; left half of the half rack uneaten. In-between: Some items were just "not right." Soup of the day was vichyssoise, which should be served well chilled. Mine was barely cooler than room temperature. Cole slaw tasted like shredded lettuce with a little mayonnaise and n... read more
