I’ve been here a few times; this was my first time being disappointed. The floors were sticky as I stood in line for the bakery while waiting for a table. I kept having to peel my booted foot off the ground. The staff was not polite or friendly. I saw 6+ people working the front between the host and the bakery checkout and not one had a smile on or said hello/good morning. I ordered the salmon meal with vegetables and the salmon MW saying I do not like pink. The salmon came MR-rare with lots of pink. =They took back the salmon and returned it the same. I ordered chicken noodle soup in its place and the soup had no flavor and was barely warm. The vegetables were very good as was the service. In the bathroom, instead of having a paper towel holder, the had a basket with 3 piles of paper towels. Basic breakfast food. Can’t stand when you have a reservation for a restaurant and there are hardly any people eating and yet they seat you right next to someone. Food was almost inedible, my husbands food was sitting in a pool of grease and not enjoyable at all. Wait staff were ok. Very long wait times in between interactions, not unfriendly, but not over the top or enthusiastic about their job. Had hair in our food
Our server was horrible she only took our drink orders and went to every other table i watched her go up to every table even the new tables she had were already ordering their food and she just kept avoiding our table aftwr only taking our food drinks i dont know if its because we were young and she thought she wasnt going to get a tip because of what we looked like. i dont know her name but she was a caucasian blonde girl
We waited 20 minutes for a waiter after being seated. The restaurant was at 20% capacity. They weren’t busy by any means. Tables that got seated after us were met with waiters before us. We got up and left.
We had a pregnant woman who specifically asked for a non alcoholic drink and was promised by the waitress that it will not be alcoholic. The order indeed had alcohol in it and the whole staff including the manager minimized the situation.
I hosted a birthday brunch when I went and our waitress was very attitudinal and rude. The overall experience was nice but I’d rather go to a different location than 14th street.
There was so much to choose from. It all sounded good but wasn’t. I had the grilled cheese with tomato soup that I sent back because the cheese was not melted. My starter was good. I had the salmon wonton. My drink was good and that was it.
