I love this hospital!! The staff at Telegraph Canyon is the best around. I trust them completely. The receptionists and technicians are friendly, caring and very helpful. The doctors are knowledgeable, compassionate and also kind. You can tell that they all have a true love for animals and a passion for what they do. It's actually really cute to watch the staff interact with the animals...they'll just carry on small conversations with the pets. Next time you go, watch them! It's rather funny. I know that when I take my pets... read more
Fantastic, knowledgeable, kind. They don't mess about trying to sell you things you don't need, they just take care of your animals. Efficiently and effectively - without draining every dime you have. I've brought my dogs here three times for after hours care, or when my vet was closed, and every one I spoke to was considerate, helpful, and incredibly professional. I just love them. More importantly, I trust them.
I think a patient would be an animal, no? I love everyone that works here. They're always friendly and helpful. I wouldn't take my kitty anywhere else.
I'm pretty disappointed with our experience here. Before scheduling the appointment, we clearly told the clinic that we needed clearance/recommendation to see a dog chiropractor for our dog. When we got to the appointment, the vet told us she wouldn't provide that because of her personal morals. I respect that veterinarians can have their own opinions, but it would have been really helpful if the clinic had told us that upfront before we booked and paid for the visit. Because of that, the appointment ended up feeling like a... read more
It was time to neuter our goldendoodle and prior to admission I received 1 phone call and also called to double confirm mo extra needs ( I.e. catheter, blood work) was requested. When my son dropped off our guy, he signed a pre-checked off paper not knowing what was entailed. Long story short. Upon pickup, instead of $415 it was up to $580ish. I tried to explain to the receptionist who then asked the "manager" for credit on the error and the "manager" flat out refused stating your son signed the paper. We didn't want to fuss... read more
I'd like to give this place 0 stars if I was able, don't take your pet here. I took my mom's dog here last weekend and had the worst experience I've ever had a vet - no help, no actual explanation and horrible wait time. I waited over an hour to get seen when we had an appointment. Our dog passed away today and I think they could've done a much better job in supporting us. I paid $900 to get an xray done and to see why my dog was vomiting - they said they only saw gas in her stomach but she had stuffed animal stuffing an... read more
We called and made an appointment because all of our cats have a cold. The one we made the appointment for was feeling better so we took the sickest one. We notified them of the change when we arrived. All the sudden they were asking for his vaccination records (including rabies) with no prior warning, then refused to see our sick cat. The cat we made the appointment for hadn't been seen before, yet they made no vaccine record request upon booking. The front desk said "it was the veterinarians call" to decline to treat our c... read more
They used to be great and IF you can get in, maybe will be but if you have a situation that needs immediate care, don't bother! We've taken our pets there for decades and just one too many occurrences of emergency situations where they would not get us in. So disappointed.
Business response:
Thank you for your feedback, Jaquie. We're sorry to hear that you were unable to have your pet be seen for emergency care at our general practice veterinary hospital due to the availability of examination appointments of our doctors. Your concerns are noted and we take them seriously. We strive to provide the best care possible for all our patients, including in emergency situations, and we sincerely hope that we see you and your family again in the future.
They bloodied our cat's paws. Horrible. Whoever trimmed her nails chopped them back below the quick. Tried to talk to the vet, but front office staff blocked me. I doubt the vet ever heard what happened. Avoid this place at all costs!
