These people NEVER answer their phone. I have never had anyone pick up no matter how many or what time I call. Not sure why they even have a phone. They are unclear about their hours. And give no notice of when they close when website say they are open. Very frustrating.
Business response:
Thank you for the review, Iman. The leadership team at Telegraph CanyonAMC takes any feedback seriously, and we do make every effort to answer each phone call, but with the high volume of calls we receive each day it can be difficult at times to do so. A great way to get in touch with us quickly is through our "Pet Portal" link which can be found on our website at telegraphcanyonvet.com. There, you can send messages to us directly and can be seen by more members of our staff. We hope this can alleviate some of the pain of re... read more
Watch out if you take your dog here to get spayed or neutered. My dog was just a year old when I took her to get fixed here and when I got her back they had chopped off half of the fur on her Pomeranian tail, and it NEVER grew back. Tell me how does that "accidentally" happen? Be weary of this place, that's really scary. I regret not questioning who exactly was the one to work on her when I had the chance, and demanded a refund. All I know is that a "Lynette Henderson" signed the spay certificate. As for the business commen... read more

Andria G., the Leadership Team at Telegraph Canyon Animal Medical Center takes feedback seriously and looks into each review in detail. We have searched our entire client database and cannot locate a client record with your name. Additionally, the situation you described does not resemble anything that has occurred at our practice. You may have, by mistake, left a review for our clinic when it was meant for another one. If you wish to discuss this review further, please call our practice and ask to speak to the hospital man... read more
Very unhappy with Telegraph Canyon Vet. I dropped off my little pooch to get his ears checked and took him home with a surprise of him being unable to jump up and in obvious pain. He was fine when I left him at this facility but was obviously suffering when I brought him home. I contacted facility and all the doctor can say is that they love animals and no one would hurt an animal. As of today, I had to take my little love to the emergency vet!!!! I have been calling Telegraph vet all morning and left a message with negat... read more

We were so sorry to hear that your sweet dog seemed to be in pain, Martha. We all truly understand that being a pet parent can make each of us more acutely aware of differences in behavior or movement in our pet. This is a good thing, and we are thankful that you were able to bring it to our attention. In speaking with the staff that handled and supervised over your little man, there were no issues that could have caused him pain in bringing him inside the office, during his exam, or in or out of his cage during his stay wit... read more
Edit 11/9/2020 - Please be advised that the doctor did not give proper informed consent regarding whether or not our pet should be vaccinated. We were simply told that we could go ahead with the vaccinations if we wanted to, but it was not suggested because he was 2 days short of 12 weeks. Obviously we have to live with the fact that we made the final call regarding our kittens vaccinations, but we made that decision with limited information and a general assumption that it was safe to continue since the doctor did not s... read more
I've gone to this clinic for 3 years and have love the veterinary care the doctors give my dog. Yet, the business side of this place has some very serious issues with communication. First, no person ever answers the phone. Emails and texts are rarely returned. Finally, my dog is diabetic and needs insulin. If refills run out, it's like pulling teeth to get anyone to help or call in a prescription to a pharmacy. Twice now I've run out of medication because of the lack of effective support of this place. I cant blame co... read more
If you truly love your dog I promise you need to stay away from this place! My dog went to get neutered in May and they completely over charged us. The lady on the phone told us it would be less than $100 and we ended up paying over $200 for unnecessary additional charges we didn't need. Today (July 28th) I find this sticking out of where he had stitches! MIND YOU HE GOT DISSOLVABLE STITCHES SO WTF IS THIS! He has been picking at it for months and every time I checked I couldn't find anything until today it finally stuck out... read more

Thank you for giving me a call and talking about your concerns. I hope we were able to answer your questions and address your concerns. Hello Alexis - please refer to the message we have sent over to you. We would like to address your concerns about invoice total and the steel suture in your picture. Thank you.
This place always gets us with extra money. They always say my dog needs more medication when actually she doesn't! I took my dog for a second opinion and they said she didn't need that medication. Also, they make you buy a medication just in case and when it's not needed (new) they sell you a different medication more expensive! They should care about the animals not the money!!! Shame on them
Business response:
Thank you for your feedback, Nancy. It is always our intention to provide a high-level of service for each and every pet. Any recommendations made by our doctors are based on over 75 years of combined experience, and are always discussed with the owner before treatments begin and also again before a pet is sent home. Our hospital is not one that encourages overselling and needlessly offering anything for the pet that the doctor does not feel with help improve their overall health. If you would like to discuss this further, p... read more
Brought my 8 week old pup for a wellness check. Made an appointment through their website, which was super easy. Showed up 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork. I was then told there was no record of my appointment. I showed the woman assisting me my confirmation email. She seemed annoyed, probably because it was crazy busy, but still no need to take out annoyed/frustrated feelings on (new) clients. No one was allowed inside because of social distancing practices, so she asks to borrow my phone, I'm assuming to show the ve... read more
So I came in today to the vet clinic knowing that it will take a while to be attended for my dog to get her shots. This wasn't the first time coming to this clinic. I was there for maybe 10 minutes and they called out my dogs first name and i was surprised that they called her in that quick. Which I dont really like that they dont allow the owner to go with their dog. A few minutes pass and the nurse comes back with my dog and I'm waiting for them to call my name. Then this lady comes in that was waiting outside saying that ... read more
