The 80's called..... and they want Cyndi Lauper back! The lady with puffy blonde hair and 80's makeup working the front desk, you are UNPROFESSIONAL! I can't believe the clinic allows her to be front facing customers with her nasty, defensive attitude! I am saddened that after 14 years with this veterinarian hospital I am thoroughly disappointed with my last experience. A month ago today, I took my 15-year-old, male Maltese in for a persistent cough that occurred two days earlier. Following several test, a chest x-ray, and 1K+ dollars. I was informed the dog has an enlarged heart, but no diagnosis for the cough. The dog was prescribed a few meds and sent home. Took me 2 months to even write down and explain this, because I was so mad. So frustrated and upset. From every person I came in contact with him. We have gone to TCAMC for many years (over 20). We were always very satisfied with the care and service we received there in the past. However, since COVID, their customer service has gone downhill in a big way. No one answers the phone. You have to contact them on-line or leave a message. Sometimes you just need to talk to a person before making an appointment, and the issue cannot be explained well on the website. Just don't expect them to answer the phone. A few years ago when they used to answer and schedule an appointment, the service was good. My last appointment I waited 45 minutes AFTER seeing the doctor just to pay the bill. Both my daughter and I have called at different times of the day and can never get through. Rude, disrespectful ancillary staff when questioned about duplicate and exorbitant prices charged for pending surgical procedure. Staff very nasty. Also, duplicate online requests to fill out paperwork online beforehand. Paperwork forms filled out as requested online. Then, when you arrive all paperwork has to be filled out again in hard copy. Very disorganized! Will never recommend or return. Staff needs to learn they are not the only business in town. Customer service training needed ASAP!

They never call you back when you leave a message. Most times you don't ever get to speak to someone when you call. Even if it's something quick. You're automatically sent to voicemail-even during regular business hours. And you either won't hear back at all or you should expect a call back a week or more later. This has been my experience the last 2 years. But it also just happened to me last week and I never heard back. They may be taking in more patients than they can handle, or the front desk staff just isn't that great... read more

I have been taking my dogs here for the past couple of years and I would say that my experiences have always been inconsistent. The front desk staff is very dismissive and majority of the time rude and blunt. But once you get past them the doctors are great. I'm not saying that the entire staff there is unpleasant but I do feel sometimes that when I walk in I am an inconvenience or feel invisibility until I speak up as they will not initiate conversation. Brought my very sick cat here to be put down. We informed staff he was actively dying and suffering if they could hurry up and help him because he was obviously suffering. They said they needed to do an "exam" on him that was really just getting his weight. They would come in and out of the room wasting time when he was very quickly losing his.
