Terrible customer service. No communication. Rude responses from Marty. Elizabeth blamed everyone else for her mistakes. They both constantly blamed the title company for the delays, but the title company was actually doing an excellent job. I’m very disappointed since this was my 2nd loan with TxLending

The process of refinancing with TexasLending.com or their parent company, Aspire Financial was a nightmare. I have closed on home purchases and mortgage refinances more than 10 times in my life. None in the past has been as tedious and incompetent as this refinance. They said it would take 55 to 60 days to close, it took over 90 days. Before I go on, please understand, my credit rating is Excellent and the appraised value of the property is almost 4 times the amount of the refinance. This was a no- risk loan. They had ac... read more

We were very unhappy with the service we received. The people Dee and Kara were very nice. However, there was a lot of confusion between those two. It seemed they didn't communicate very well and we felt very lost. I know some things happened on our side, but we were quick to respond, unfortunately, Tx Lending was not. We have bought, sold, refinanced many houses and this was the worst ever.

You could start by letting people know that if they are self employed they need to have 2 years worth of verifiable income. You could also let them know what is considered verifiable income for self employment. I spent close to two months going through the loan process to find out that my self employment income for the last 6 months did not qualify, even though I am performing the same role I had been performing for over 20 years. It would be good to train your loan officers on these requirements, so that individuals do ... read more

Better communication up front by loan officers so lending objectives are understood for purpose of modeling. Make sure your processing team is aligned with your document processing software and that they are trained to perform simple tasks like opening files shared by cloud drives such as Google. Stick to closing appointment times.

I eventually started with. Mathew Morgan with idea of consolidating my debt and lowering my interest rate. Matt is a great guy and a hard worker. I started the loan process in September and finally gave up in January without a loan. I have never missed a payment and have an excellent credit score. The problem is that I own a piece of the company that employs me. They asked for several documents that the owner did not want.to supply. They stated that they needed these documents that were required because of new COVID restrict... read more

It took way longer than I expected to complete this process. This process was very painful. Every time I provided answers, paperwork, etc they came back & asked for more and much of it seemed to be very picky, minor things.. Also, it shouldn’t take an hour and a half just to sign the paperwork, which it did! Bottom line...it was easier purchasing my home than it was to refinance it!! I never expected to be this much trouble to refinance!
