You missed the closed date. I had checked in numerous times two weeks before close was scheduled to make sure we were going to close on time. Answer was always yes. Two days before close I received an email at 7:30 at night saying we would not close. I asked for a manager to call me at least three times, and we never received a call.

If I could give zero stars I would. These folks are unethical and when the going gets tough they quit. They quit even after they tell the home buyer that everything is approved.. then after financing period expires... the agent Joe Milburn claims there is now a problem. This agency is a sham. Beware these guys don’t go the extra mile to do what they say they will do. They just want easy money and otherwise they hose you! Don’t bother trying to talk to management because Daniel Sweeney and James Sharp won’t return phone calls... read more

Communication was not good between. We were asked to resend documents again after 2 weeks. We sent our survey as an original document up front an was asked to send it again week 7 so the title company could approve it. Hard to get call backs or emails on the status of our loan.

It was difficult to move things forward. Had to explain and/or provide documents multiple times.

overall the process was ok, but when we were deciding on which company to give our business to, we chose Texas Lending because we were told that there would be a $1,300 lender credit, no cash due at closing and the $680 appraisal fee could possibly be rolled into the loan so we wouldn't have to pay out of pocket. Midway through the process, we were told the appraisal fee couldn't be rolled into the loan but that it would be credited back to the credit card and added to the closing costs so the $680 would come back to us. No... read more

"Before I post my review on Google I want to share my thoughts with you, although lack of communication is one aspect I was not satisfied with. I have purchased 5 homes and refinanced 2 of them, this process made me feel the most uncomfortable . Each disclosure that I received showed a larger closing cost, I then had to figure out myself what had changed and if I didn't understand then contact my agent, basically it was "here sign this". The $1,000 closing credit sounds good, "here we're helping with your costs", but in this... read more
